Hi! you look great! I am 31 weeks as well. I myself do NOT have leaking colostrum, I believe that's the technical term. I don't have nipple piercings, but I did have a breast reduction 10 years ago. I can still breasfeed If I want though. This is my second child, and I didn't have leakage with the first either. It also took a while after giving birth for the milk to harden, so maybe I was lacking breast milk? not sure, but you should ask your dr! Good luck to you....

I'm like a naturally happy goofy person but just thinking about this baby keeps me positive and smiling. I do get sad sometimes when I see my friends going out to parties and bars and I think that a lot of that will stop for me b/c of the baby but I just think of how this child was put in my life for a reason. I think I used to party a little too much LoL and I was a little irresponsible w/ certain things - my friend told me God put this baby in my life to have me chill out a little u kno =o)
LOL she probably kicks u because your putting pressure on her head. My baby use to do that, I found out his head was on that same side. I's down, but not straight down either leaning to the left or right..... And u might see stretch marks AFTER the baby is born!lol U CAN STILL BREAST FEED! I didn't have any leakage til the week before delivery. So don't be scared! :)
wow ur belly is growing, u carry beautifully too. nipple peircings dont affect anything. and not everybody leaks. i didnt leak neither but 2 days after my daughter was born my breast swole up as if they were on steroids and i had milks for dayzzz! so ur fine!

I heard that if you keep your cat around with the litter box that, that could possibly cause some problems around the baby. Are you going to get rid of the kitty?
i dont leak either and i was thinking the same thing, but i dont have any nipples rings of coruse.lol! but i did think maybe becuz i didnt leak that i may not produce enough milk to breast feed, so yeah it was scary for me as well, but i ended up askin my midwife about that at my last appt. and she says it'sll be fine,even tho sum times i have like this white thick discharge coming out my breast, but it sint liquidy tho.lol! so you'll be fine,and you'll be able to breast feed!! u look awesome!!

OMG! How come you only have 6 weeks off after having your baby??? Here in Quebec (Canada) we got an entire year (52 weeks) all paid by the governement with our full salary...I can see we're lucky in here! Go, move to Canada in a hurry! LOLL...I swear it's true!

Don't worry about daycares. I was placed in one as a child and I turned out alright. I don't remember any of it, but I know I turned out alright in the end.
Your belly looks so cute! I have colostrum already. It isn't leaking and I squeezed them earlier and a clear liquid came out. I am afraid of daycare too. I worked in one for almost 3 yrs so I've seen bad things! Is there any family members that can do it. I know thats what I'm doing! I wish I could leave work too. I plan to work until I give birth too. I'd rather spend all that time with baby rather than sitting home bored! I pee about 5 times a night. So annoying! Good luck with everything!!
Don't worry about the no leakage..every woman is different yours will come in it might just come in later. I have colostrum in there now but I don't leak. The only way I knew is cuz I squeezed my nipples one day to see and some clear stuff came out. Maybe try that?
My baby kicks me like crazy when I sleep on my left side too, but I still sleep that way cuz it's better for your circulation and I'll put up with the constant rib kicks until baby finally falls asleep...lol. Your outfit is cute! :)

The peircing shouldnt stop you from b/f Not everyone gets leakage Might be TMI try squeezing the areola nipple some might come out like that I remember when I was pregnant I didnt get leakage but it would squeeze out only a little bit though but stil rite now it only the start of colostrum which stay like that till the bub is a few days old which is when your actual milk will come in on day 3 or 4 and OMG yea leakage I remember when mine came in milk was EVERWHERE I had to change my whole outfit

Also, by all accounts there is no reason as to why a nipple piercing should make any difference when breastfeeding. The most likely thing to occur is that a little extra milk may come through the piercing holes. I am 26 weeks pregnant with my third little girl and she also doesn't like me sleeping on my left side, I get the same response from her as ou get from yours....LOL
I asked a lactation consultant aboutlack of leaking. She said leaking/not leaking has no correlation with milk production, and it is not a concern. It also varies greatly between women. One person could leak steadily for months and the next woman won't leak at all until her milk comes in after birth. The only thing that might be indicative of poor milk production is no change in breast size during pregnancy.

Just a bit of advice for the stretch marks,I used PALMERS COCOA BUTTER.. and had NO STRETCH MARKS..TRY IT!!!

I got the stretch marks on my breasts too. They were so dark I was embarrassed. But They almost disappeared a few months later.

Umm you may not be able to breastfeed directly but your baby may still be able to get your breast milk if you use a pump and poor it in a bottle.
