Me and my mate Paul were there, highlights as I remember (long time ago) were Ozzy, we were all into "bark at the moon" album at the time!, Van Halen were great I remember David Lee Roth swinging swords around stage.

The highlight had to be AC/DC, great stage with an enourmos bell and Angus running up and down the stage playing "whole lotta rosie", excellent.

Didn't enjoy the bottles of piss flying around though!!

That's fine...you're entitled to your opinion however, there are differences between pull offs/arpeggios as opposed to tapping and that's exactly what Angus did in Who Made Who. During the 80s, there was NO OTHER technique as widely copied as that and those are the facts.

Angus is a blues guitarist at heart and therefore is not a virtuoso whilst Eddie's technique was fiery, swift and fierce that's why he received so many accolades in his prime.

the bigger picture in all this is AC/DC still sells out stadiums with 60000 people in 10 minutes, van halen couldnt sell out a hockey arena. and all van halen does is rely on effects and tapping(who cant play eruption) angus young plays with a guitar and an amp and has a unique sound that so many people aspire to re create and cant. tapping is a tacked on gimmick for guitarists with less skill, like me lol
