I really think your point about the sport system is very bad. Maybe in the Olympics athletes will be known as British but that's more because we compete as the UK. You'll notice that in the Premier League Ryan Giggs will always be Welsh, not British, Darren Fletcher will always be Scottish. Also, the reason that Scottish kids watch English football is because of the quality of the league, it isn't just Scottish pps that watch it, it's pretty much worldwide. English kids watch the Spanish league.

This one time I went to Scotland. It rained non-stop and was freezing cold. Everyone is overweight and has false teeth. All the men are transvestites and the women look like men. I was attacked by a swarm of midges and thrown out of a pub for saying that the Loch Ness monster didn't exist. Everyone is constantly drunk and there is a very high level of MS due to the horrible weather. I couldn't sleep at night due to the constant bagpipe noise. I am never going back.

There are more people in England that want Scottish independence than there are in Scotland. A lot of Tories look forward to it since it would mean that Labour would never be elected in England again. Independence is also for England you know, it's not just about Scotland. Independence is right since it means each government would represent its people's wishes, We don't have the Scottish people's choices imposed on us, and they don't have ours imposed on them.

Scottish ministers in Westminster's UK government can vote on exclusively English matters; English ministers can't vote on exclusively Scottish internal affairs. I really think your point about the sport system is very bad. Maybe in the Olympics athletes will be known as British but that's more because we compete as the UK. You'll notice that in the Premier League Ryan Giggs will always be Welsh, not British, Darren Fletcher will always be Scottish. A lot of Tories look forward to it since it would mean that Labour would never be elected in England again. Independence is also for England you know, it's not just about Scotland. Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland all have their own autonomous governments ~ England is the only country without a government in the United Kingdom nations. Scottish ministers in Westminster's UK government can vote on exclusively English matters; English ministers can't vote on exclusively Scottish internal affairs. The English have no voice or representation of our own. Our national day & identity is kept low-key, suppressed, whereas St. Patricks Day (Ireland) is recognised & celebrated.

I learned to play many Scottish & Irish traditional songs at school, learned about their legends & tales, not just English ones & we eat flapjacks & oats in England. Auld Lang Syne was sung in London's NYE fireworks, English identity is oppressed. A Scottish person can call themselves Scottish, at school I was told off for writing I was English on a form, I was told it was "most incorrect" and to call myself "British."

Many ppl expected this to happen if Tories came into power. Camerons party didn't secure enough votes (no party did as few ppl voted, after being left disappointed with the Labour administration). @legandrydirk As for unemployment figures, I never said anything about this, since I don't know about the figures, but all I know is England has a much higher population then Scotland, so unemployment figures are expected to be higher in England.
In terms of other nations seeking the UK to divide, it's not so much what they think which concerns me, I just know it's a competitive world in a Darwinian struggle of nature & survival of the strongest. The US is the one mostly behind this.
