I can remember when I fisrt started playing WoW and I fell down the waterfall and died, I then spent 2 hours trying to get my wisp back to my corpse, failing and swimming/floating all the way around to Rut'theran Village to try again. I forgot I could go to the Spirit Healer... Mega epic fail.

if you are bored enough to do this you can also swim around the island to the dock but it would take you a while . ive been around the outside of all four, ( tel., eastern kingdoms, kalimdor, and northrend lol) just stay close to the shore there is a small area that is not blackwater. I have actually discovered several areas that this is the only way to get to.

You can jump from anywhere. Just make a pally and bubble just before you hit land.

also, you can swim around to the docks that are at the base of the tree, so there is 3 ways back up. Drownng, the docks, and the hearth stone.

you don't necessarily have to kill yourself to get back. you can go to Rutheran Village if you swim around a while, takes a long time, but you can get back to land without killing yourself.

plus i got a secret.. if you want acheivement you go to the top of frostsaber rock in Winterspring and just kinda inch over the edge you fall just enough not to die and get acheivement :)

Just jump down from Thunderbluff's western elevator and make sure you land on elevated platforms will be enough to earn that achievement. My lv19 druid didn't die from that.

One time, I jumped (fell, actually x_x) off one of the branches around the border of Darnassus, and right before I landed, I used Bear Form (was a level.. Oh, 17 at the time, I think), and landed in the water without dieing. Didnt get that Going Down? Achievement, I was somewhat upset about that. xD I was too busy flailing around going "How the hell did that happen?! :D" to care, really. XD

omg i done that plunged stright into the water took me bout half an hour to reach the bootom bye using nothing and i was round level 9 when i did that

omg, ive done this sooo many times. i did not have my harthstone ready the second time, so I had to swim 3/4 around teldrassil just to get to the village at the bottem of it. it took me atleast an hour without my seal form (cause i was lvl 8. ever since, i kept trying to find higher cliffs to jump off! :3

you can do it without the exploit uf you just keep dieing then ghosting back to your bodie it only takes 10 kmins longer

That's not the only way back up. Swim to Rut'theran then use the teleporter thingy. Also if you swim a bit further you can find some campsites that I believe belonged to the horde...

Yes Fireline you are right. It's in Darnassus. If you go into Darnassus and look at your map you'll se a small sort of hole at the very top of it where the water is.

It takes awhile, but you can swim around to the shore and get up without dieing. So says the tauren.

Done it before, but since im a warlock i had to get slow fall from noggenfogger =/. The jump itself was kind of cool, but dying in the end wasnt worth it.
