i agree, with corabi, the crue sounds like a rock band with better music and a darker edge. vince singing live would sing every other word and sound like shit doing it. the only really good vince song was kickstart my heart

I disagree with the last statement. Anything from the Shout at the Devil era (Aside from Ten Seconds to Love(Which was terrible)).

Otherwise, I agree. Their music was a lot better with corabi. It was actually well composed, and had stronger lyrics.

I liked both Both Singers. they both were great singers, because Corabi was better than Vince LIVE and he had a cleaner sound and also a Raunchy sound. He was good BUT Vince was a good performer he gave %110 live and He fit the best in the Crue. But whatever i like em both :)

Sorry, but Vince is notorious for getting drunk before playing which causes him to sound like shit live. If he really respected his fans and game 110% he would perform sober. John may not have the charisma that Vince does, but at least he tries. I know, I've seen Crue four times, three with Vince and once with John.

agreed. the self-titled album was their best follow-up to feelgood. everyone sounds great on the album, including corabi. micks tone is sick, tommy and nikki sound great as well.

and instead of copying vince, he brought his own style to the band and gave them an edgier, meaner tone. compare that to bands like journey who keep finding guys that sound exactly like steve perry.

I compare the Crue era with Corabi to Anthrax with John Bush. The fans just wouldn't accept these bands with replacement singers who were arguably better than the originals. Although Anthrax got away with it a little longer. Corabi had a hell of a good grunge voice, but metal die hards just wouldn't stand for it. Sadly he had no say so in the Crue, Nikki even told him how to dress.

that's funny cause the Mötley Crüe album is probably their heaviest album they've made, so it should be a gods gift to metal fans. And Coarbi did have a say in the band but the record companies didn't care of hat he said cause he wasn't a "star"

I probably should have said "Hair Metal" or "Pop Metal," I knew alot of Vince Neil fans who only listened to stuff like Bon Jovi and Poison. Most of the people I knew who liked Corabi were fans of Alice in Chains and Candlebox. The people I knew who liked Slayer didn't like either version of the Crue. I liked that album personally and I agree with you that Metalhead's should have liked it. As far as Corabi's say in the band, I only know what I've heard. But I like the guy's voice.
