if you ever go Canada's north you would really notice the people here are not obese, when i when down south i see lots of obesity people i guess that's from the food they eat because its too unhealthy and people in the North are not, cause they eat the country food not store bought. when it comes to store bought they add lot of preservatives and anything that is not healthy to human body.

i recommend people not to trash talk before try something they haven't try.

There was never a problem with seal hunting until Hollywood stars got involved, saying it's too cruel because the seals are 'clubbed' to death, they're cute and etc... However, the 'clubbing' they talk about is actually just one blow to the head, which is quick and a lot more humane then some of the methods used in several butchering facilities for cattle, pigs and chickens. So why aren't they complaining about the cruelty of poor Annabel who turned into their juicy steak? Question to consider.

A uranium mine is about to be open soon near Baker Lake. We depend on our animals that we have survived on for eons. I 'd almost support it if it was underground. The site is right smack in the middle of the caribou migration route. We share the migrating caribou with our neighbour to the west, also north and south of Baker Lake. There is supposedly a good documentary by National Film Board (NFB). Thanks Rex for telling our piece to the world.

I disagree. We'll eat all the meat we will get our hands on, because we still have our freedom, and it won't kill us. We buy real meat, so it's from a small cage. The best measurement of freedom is if you can still do something without having a terrorist taking away that freedom. Have your view, say what you say, but if a conservative can't go on Fox news and bash liberals, why can liberals and anarchists go out into the streets, call the gov. facist, and bomb a few banks?

As in an article i read seal meat is becoming more& more popular with tourists primarily due to all the publicity over it i guess, Good to hear too! So the meat market that the anti s' destroyed hopefully will bounce back in the near future, So in return shut there mouths about leaving carcasses on the ice.

high five to Rex and Michaëlle, for their support, when Peta have been including Inuit with the aliens that have been cruel to seals just for the skin, at least us Inuit have been eating the meat, no waste. I wish I could feed the people in the third world a good seal meat, instead of just giving (sponsor) them a school books, or flour. Imagine how it would be appreciated by those poor hungry people.
