More than half of our food ends up in the garbage! Most already on the way from the farm to the store before it even reaches our dinner table: every second lettuce, every second potato and every fifth bread.
Some countries produce abundance and throw it away, others can not afford the prices on the world market and the people suffer from hunger.
Young activists protest against this situation by rescuing the wasted food. BRAVO!
The problem is that if each of us says: I can't chance it. THAN NOTHING WILL CHANCE.
Look at NEW YORK 2011: A MOBILISATION of PROTEST will not tolerated, because the TOP will see that as a enemy of THEIR OWN LIFE"SECURE" = THEIR SECURE to LUXE.
How is it possible that a MINORITY of PEOPLE can protect their own way of life. It is the same like ONE PERSON can JUSTIFY WAR!!!
It's appalling and shocking! We consumer people and our global economy are so rational that is stupid beyond any reason... we are on a high speed race to the bottom
Laten we zelf onze stap zetten. Denk na bij het inslaan van je boodschappen. Heb je een feestje, sla minder in. Niet al je gasten komen. Denk aan afsluitbare verpakking. Deel je voedsel met je buren, organiseer een kliekjes dag. En producten die vandaag nog goed zijn,zijn zelfs morgen nog goed.
