  • Analog production. A lost art.

  • Queen The Elite of Music

  • 0.55 cute

  • that was golden age of creative enineering 62 - 91

  • my favourite song from "A Night At The Opera" QUEEN for ever!!!!

  • This particular time in the 70's when Roger had his roto-tom set was when he preformed this song with the reverb and slight delay effect for his voice. Damn his voice was powerful with this mix! Roger's solo career in the 80's was pretty lame but that's because his voice was more suited for the 70's. Had he done solo work then well, he may have done pretty well on his own even if he had never joined Queen. But I'm glad for all us he did anyway.

  • love how you can really hear Brian in the backround of the song

  • come on the beatles had lennon and mccartney of course they were the best songwriting team in rock. nevertheless i still love queen, they were better musicians than the beatles. its a battle tho each day I go from one day the beatles are the best than the next day its queen are the best. I guess the reason why both were very big and different is cos they didn't come from the blues like every other band did so they came across as more diverse type bands. Btw today is queen lol...

  • @fairyfellermaster the beatles came from the blues, but drifted off completely as they became more popular

  • @smackenurjunk I hate to disagree with you but the beatles' influences range from eddie cochran, scotty moore, little richard, buddy holly, elvis, chuck berry. Fats domino's probably the bluest they ever got unlike the stones & other bands in the 60's who cited howlin' wolf, willie dixon & robert johnson as influences. The beatles weren't blind to the blues they just didn't pay much attention as all the others.

  • @fairyfellermaster and where did chuck berry, elvis, scotty moore get their influences from? BLUES. When the Beatles just formed, they covered blues songs at gigs in england. Yes there are other bands from england that are much more bluesy than the beatles but rock came from the blues. Its impossible to say that no form of rock was influenced by the blues. Blues gave birth to rock. and then new types of rock were born. like elvis and buddy holly and eddie cochran

  • "Brian's in love with fast things. Fast cars... et cetera." lol!

Whoever came up with putting a microphone in a tin can is a genius!

  • Do you know if there is a multitrack of Lazing on a sunday afternoon?

  • If you don't have this song set as your ringtone on your phone you're missing out! It is such a perfect little song that turns peoples heads :P

  • it's amazing roy can talk and play with faders while talking

  • Roger Rocks!! I love Drowse also. I recommend buying his solo album Electric Fire. Doesn't he have a new single coming out in November??

  • "it's about a car.... And someone who's in love with it" hahahha I love you Roger Taylor!!! :)

  • why is he ?

  • chrisbus420, you sir, can suck the big one, fool. Roger Taylor is a very talented artist and you can't call yourself a Queen fan if you don't like all 4 of them equally.

  • 4:21!!!!!!!!AHHHHH!!!!!

  • the scene from 6:44-6-58 looks like the set where they flimed "magical mystery tour" for the beatles. the scene where the bus is in a race with other cars and people.

  • My fave guitar solo on Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon

  • love the acoustic version of i'm in love with my car...it's more gentle than the drum-pounding rocking one..great album

    Queen Lives!!

  • Poor Mike Stone died very young, what happened to him? And Brian's humility is just lovely.

  • Hey Brian, the Beatles were big time and very successful but they never did posses even a fraction of the talent Queen had and always will.

Oh I almost forgot the Beatles were cute but were very impoverished when it came time for charisma. Believe me you all have this trait.

    Love You Brian

  • I'd say that you're doing both Queen and the Beatles both a Disservice with that. Without the Beatles, there would be no Queen.

Respect between musical artists is always an important thing.

  • @louisejbjb Hey man Queen is my favorite band. However, I must input that The Beatles are, I believe, the greatest songwriters we have seen. There is something out there for everyone in the world. Rockers and non rockers. You got to really dig deep in their history and all their music.

  • roger rocks !!!!

  • 2:06

    i love that lol
