I think most people know what they meant but there will always be some people that will miss the whole point of the song and point out something petty.
The lyrics "it should've been me", simply mean, I have put myself in harms way, disregarded the word of God and yet I'm still here. So, yes, in that case, it "should've been me". Despite what I know and have been taught about Christ, I still do wrong and God has protected me from all hurt, harm or danger.
i dont agree with the lyrics " it should've been me". god didn't put us here to be hurt and harmed by that we might have life and more abundantly. so yes it could've but not should've.
nah you're misunderstanding..their saying "it should've been me" meaning that when we sometimes step outside of the will of God and into our own will bad things can occur..but it is his grace and mercy that keeps us safe even when we mess up..that's why they say it should've been me that bad things happen to when I know I shouldn't have went astray and did it anyway but it's grace and mercy that keeps us even when we mess up.

Why must we debate such trivial things such as the use of the "N", We have all heard the word before, and im sure heard or possibly used worse words in a conversation. But to sit here and judge someone life based on your own,just isn't fair nor right. There are plently of other things you could be doing in your spare time, hint.. maybe looking in the mirror.

First off, I have the entire sermon. I'm the one who posted it. I work with Dorinda and she's a sweet loving person. That video was literally almost 2 years ago!! I'm sure Dorinda has grown in 2 years. We don't know if she was rebuked or not. Personally I believe she could have said NEGRO, but she didn't. But she used it in a general context.

I grew up in Church, I know where she's coming from when she let that slip, for a brief moment the weave came off and the smile came off, and I wouldn't mess with Dorinda on a bad day.

THEY ALL HOOD! lol but I still love them 2 death... they been thru entirely 2 much not 2 have no fight up in them.. but there 2 classy 4 that.. and they got 2 much 2 loose in the spirit.. so they dare not go there... but we all make mistakes LEAVE DORINDA ALONE PPL!! It's time for people to grow up in the world.
All this controversy about the N word didn't escalate until a short while back when talk show host started using it. I know the word has been around forever and the black folk didn't and don't put up with it when white folk say it. And it's ashamed when black on black use it and nobody gets upset. Rappers use it, and nothing is said.

Not to be rude, but your definition of what the "N" word is does not constitute cussing. You cannot sit there and try to judge someone based on YOUR viewpoint of what the word means. Who are we to judge??

I absolutely love this song! This is the bomb!! I love the gradual half-step increases at the beginning and the strength of the middle section of the song followed by the power ending! This is everybody's testimony, sing it girls!!!!!!
