calling this 'ahead of its time' is the understatement of the millennium! Looking at the absolute hatred against homosexuality both before this movie was made, as well as after (especially the Third Reich era), that such a forward-thinking movie was made is incredible and a testament to the power of hope.

It okay for some to fall in love with a woman or a man, heaven help you if you love someone of the same sex. They say you have the right to love, life and happiness, shouldn't apply everyone ? Life is short without having deal with smallminded people. And killing yourself isn't the answer to someone else issues. Sad, but, painful video, the music was perfect .
