  • It's amazing how long I have been reading art books on eyes, watching videos, etc. and yet this is the first time I have heard about a light source explained this way. Thanks Adam, I'll have to keep this in mind when I paint/illustrate my own work!

  • where can i get the adam hughes dvd?

  • adam hughes made a how to draw dvd?!

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY.

  • He uses the Copic incorrectly! And doesn't even know how to tell one end from the other at a glance with the lids still on! Imagine if he really knew how to use these remarkable pens correctly!!

  • how would you make eyelashes that does not seem to make a woman older ???

  • HE DREW A PERFECT CIRCLE O:

  • They are not pen. They are copic markers.

And I love using them they are so wonderful and easy.

  • What are these pens he's using?! :D I loved them! can someone tell me, please?! (:

  • These videos are mint! They remind me of watching Rolf Harris's Cartoon Time on the BBC about 25 years ago :)

    25 YEARS??! Jeeez...!! :/

  • Adam Hughes!!!!!!!!

  • I'm a beginning artist who's looked at literally 20 or so tutorials here on youtube and this is by far the best, most informative one I've seen so far! I've been looking for a tutorial to explain WHY and HOW to do things (rather than just saying, "do this"), so that I can understand & repeat it. Thank you for creating this tutorial - this has inspired me!

  • @forestfamily1 In case you dont know much about Hughes work, check it out, he´s one of the best illustrators in the comicbok industry.

  • @C4RL0Z479 thanks for the suggestion! i wasn't familiar with his work until i saw this tutorial but i've been looking into it since and you're right - his work is amazing! :)

  • @forestfamily1 Check out Michael Turner, J. Scott Campbell, and Jim Lee. Look up Andrew Loomis also.

  • your really good! im terrible with drawing and i wish that i could draw but i just realised that you draw circles really good! my circles are never close to perfectly round hahaha

  • Omg thanks for uploading this is great!

  • Adam Hughes is the man of knowledge in anatomy.

  • Holy heck Batman! I've been an artist for over 20 years & have drawn a gazillion eyeballs & eye anatomy even, but never knew/thought about/was taught the refracted highlight from the specular highlight. Definitely an "a-ha!" moment. Thanks!

  • @subgirl wow it took u that long to figure it out :O wow u suck

  • @subgirl Yeah! I was about to say this! Though I haven't been doing it that long... yet.

  • Cool video.
