@timschutte This is one of the tracks, I made like 3 years ago. xD Take a look at the recent ones though. This was with MMM and now I use FL Studio 9 which is a high difference, but thanks for the comment, I should remove this video since its way old compared to my real style.

@timschutte That FL Studio is way too better and you can make exact or more precise patterns than with this shiit xD. This program has the beats already made as a sound clip but its just the same pattern and the track wld sound very flat. With FL studio is way more innovated and you can create your own pattern, check tutorials though. ;)

in this style you dont have to have a baseline like in techno, but still the bass is there, so it has to be your laptop, and lead you dont need either, the vocal acts like the lead here, this is acturly great house.

Sure, FL Studios-$40 or so for the basic (add $ for sample and loop packages and effects,ect..) I make my own samples then loop em up, so I don't really need the accessories. This being the true creator in sound production cause everysound is yours. I would say to purchase the effect and synths though.

Adobe Audition- the old Cool Edit (the best editting & mastering tool ever!!) can run you about $400, but worth it. Try the demos out, and email me with any questions.

Try making your own samples. Take a song you like and cut every instrument and beat into individual slices, then edit them to your likeing (make sure you save in best quality).

Then sample them into Fl and change them to your liking, make the loop in the pattern box, and copy through your playlist. Once you get the just of it, you'll see that you can make your own loops very easily, and then you get your own song that sounds good but yours now. Yo can also midi sample in.

These daze, old school arcade samples rock the electro world, so what I did was play Mario Bros on my pc, via roms, and recording on adobe audition while playing the game (and many other games) then chopped up the wave in to seperate samples, saved them singly and presto! Great modern sound samples.

Thanks for all the info, man. I'm so excited to buy both. I needed one that could slice the tracks. I need to play my keyboard and record at the same time, in high quality and in the same tempo. I bought Sequel 2 but it's a pain cuz they only give u one serial # and I lost it when my computer broke, so now they dont trust I bought it and they won't give me another serial #, I already send a pic of my receit copy. Waiting for it still.

Nice stuff, I used to use that program. If you like this stuff, try FL Studios. Yo can use it for everything and it's a think ass program. You can do anything with it! I make my own samples with Adobe Audition then plug em in to FL and make my track then master with Adobe Audition, try it, you'll never go back!!

Once u pay for the software u'll be able to get the loops. I believe they send u a link to your e-mail with all of em. Then u install em or extract em. Otherwise u can buy it in a Circuit City store or Guitar Center.

This wan took me like 2 hours because I was actually listening wan loop by wan & I didn't know all of em. I still donno all of em but I wanted to make it sound like Underground House & Hard House so u just don't add watever loop to make it sounds good.
