  • Ruger M77 Mark II synthetic stock, stainless, lightweight, no iron sights 22" barrel 1 in 10" twist. It would not shoot any of the lighter .30-06 ammo accurately not even boattail ammo.150gr PSP and 162gr boattails were all over the place only producing 4" to 6" groups at 100yds. I could not figure out what was going on. So I opted to try some 180gr PSP. I was shooting less than 1" groups after just a few scope adjustments. I was told barrel harmonics was the culprit, is there any truth to this?

  • shouldn't the distance and type of game be considered when choosing the bullet weight?

  • @skad4 yes it should!

  • I've seen this man care for this rifle like it was a child in this series of videos, do you think he would sell it?

  • Wow...I am glad I discovered this series of videos.

Now I can laugh my ass off at people who think spending boo coo bucks on custom gun fitting (etc) instead of spending boo coo hours at the range is the "Secret".

Get out there and make some empty brass...that is the Secret to Accuracy.

    PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.

  • This video just gave me more shit to google.

  • whats that rifle hes holding at the beginning?

  • @jewls323 Looks like a r700 but i could be wrong

  • Should I find out which Bullet type my gun favors first or which weight my rifle fires?

Question #2, I have a .375 lever action rifle, I rarely find ammo for it.

Should I adjust my rifle to that ammo?

  • @Bloodzwurth hey dude my rifle also uses .375 win. its a model 94 xtr big bore.

as far as i could tell a case of 20 shells is sold for 40$ and up. so i'm thinking about reloading my own, since i have enough empty brass cartridges already.

  • if a kind of bullet has the right target ballistic, there should be no matter about how far i can shoot! So i have to make my trargets nearer! The target ballistic is the important ballistic!!!!!!!!!!

  • very helpful....just wondering how you measure your rifling twist

  • @kawasakikid110 i think if you push a cleaning jag threw the barrel as larry did in the video with the tape on his cleaning rod and measure how many inches it takes for the rod to make a full revolution on its path down the barrel that would be the twist rate in the barrel

  • "and that's the way it is bitches"

  • Nice lol

  • Helpful.... Indeed...

  • thanks Larry!
