good job on the cover i enjoy playing this song very much too. i would say during the chorus you should hold the C chord more... for example at :52 you go to the G but i would play G C C G (instead of G C G G). wouldnt go to the G till about :55 in this case. hope that makes sense I just think it sounds a little empty there and this would fix it.

sure good luck...try using the capo to find the right range for songs, and let me know how you make out. I have the same issue...I am a baritone, and usually need to drop the original key of a song to sing it comfortably in my range.
Very nice performance sir. You have a wonderful voice, but if I may make a suggestion, the song, in this key of G is slightly high for your range. You would do well to lower it a whole step. May I suggest playing it in the key of C, with capo on 5 (actual key is F). If you can figure out the chords that way, you may find that you can sing it more comfortably. (Key of D, capo 3, would work too!) :)

sure good luck...try using the capo to find the right range for songs, and let me know how you make out. I have the same issue...I am a baritone, and usually need to drop the original key of a song to sing it comfortably in my range.

Very nice performance sir. You have a wonderful voice, but if I may make a suggestion, the song, in this key of G is slightly high for your range. You would do well to lower it a whole step. May I suggest playing it in the key of C, with capo on 5 (actual key is F). If you can figure out the chords that way, you may find that you can sing it more comfortably. (Key of D, capo 3, would work too!) :)

Great song and nice performance. I do believe in VM's version the C chord hangs for one more bar then back to G (with the Saxophones). Enjoyed it though!
