Well... Clinton was pretty tough overseas. It hard to tell how Al Gore would have been as commander in chief (unless you already hate AL Gore and aren't willing to give him fair due).

Considering that the only one of the Bush administration with any actually knowledge of the military i.e. General Powell was the only person who's advice -wasn't- heeded, I'm not sure why you'd be so desperate to be an apologetist for Bush (unless you voted for Bush and it's hard to admit how wrong you were).
