  • looks awsome tho!!! HAHA but like you said its kinda like a brick!

  • @nutnfancy Did the weight bother you that badly? I'm just respectfully asking, of course. I know you have to carry a lot of other equipment.

  • @45calibermedic he is huge on weight lol. he does not like his knives to be over 4 oz

  • I own a Glock 17 and it is an excellent weapon. If TEOTWAWKI hit and I could only have one gun, that's the one I'd grab.

But the Beretta is an awesome weapon. Size efficient? Nope. But my Glock 36 only holds one round less than a standard 1911 and is smaller and lighter. With a +1 grip it has the same capacity! There are many such .45 weapons out there. But do guys still buy 1911s? Yup.

The M9 is a classic. And hey, it was good enough for Martin Riggs and John McClane!

  • so why doesnt the government make the G17 the standard pistol is its "better" and costs less

  • @manfromhell1234 I think most will agree the G17 is a better combat pistol, but the US military demands certain safety features (understandly so) the Glock doesn't have. Namey a manual safety/decocker. Personally, I would prefer Glock in a combat situation.

  • @manfromhell1234

    Because it's not.

  • @wildcatactual not according to what nutn was claiming

  • World champion competition shooters go for big and heavy. People who carry a sidearm daily go for smaller and lighter, that is understandable. Let the 92fs be what it is, it is not a Glock and that's ok.

  • does the weight and size really matter if you are just target shooting

  • @jshaneyboy No, it doesn't. It will be an excellent gun for target shooting

  • @jshaneyboy nope

  • VP70 is an HK subgun. Current Beretta 92 design goes back to the early 70's well before the 80's when the Glock came onto the scene. The Beretta 92 parentage goes back even farther than that-back to the 30's. It really isn't fair to criticize it to current designs. Yes, current designs blow it out of the water in SAWC, and possibly in reliability-but as you talked about mag finish inside and out. A fair test would be with blued/stainless steel mags. But I love it's classic italian lines.

  • what had happened to your left thumb?

  • Ah, so I'm the only one who doesn't like the M9, being in the military.

  • I just don't understand some people. If I'm watching something & I don't like it, I quit watching it & look for something that I like watching. How smart can these people with all their negative comments be if they just sit around & watch something they don't like ALL DAY LONG?

  • i typed in m9 i started watching this saw it was nutnfancy and was like ahhh

  • Sub gun is the M93 Raffica (Italian for burst).

  • i have that bb gun uhc m9 20.00 bucks u spray painted it brown

  • @OrigamiMaster24 lolno.

  • That cut on your hand was from a Spyderco Tenacious!!!!

  • Cant you use you sig ,instead of the beretta while working ?

  • @ech022 no

  • sig P226 Gargantuan also, same weight, same height, same width, M9 .8 longer-

M9 beat P226 in military testing-

    P226 MSRP $1000.00-

    M9 MSRP $700.00

  • Hey the M9 is just an old pistol. Been there since 1980s.

  • dude that is not big look at the desert eagle it huge it long

  • so, im not asking what units uses it or anything like that, but I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to military stuff. i guess what im trying to say is why don't all army units use the same sidearm? (that's what i thought they did)

  • @lasersight70 as in all army units he means like navy military army and air force. i think 3 of the forces use this pistol

  • I have no military experience, and maybe I'm weird, but a heavier gun just feels like I've got more power in my hands. I know weight doesn't mean much with power, but its just the feeling. And that can make all the difference with anything.

  • Maybe I'm weird, but I love a heavy gun. The heavier it is, the better it feels...just my opinion. (no military experience).

  • An old video I've seen before but one I will comment on now. First I'll say that I agree that the Beretta 92 is a bit heavy, but even if the weight by itself were a negative, it actually makes the pistol a pleasure to shoot since weight helps absorb recoil. Also, I think it's funny that people bash the 92 for being heavy when still praising the slightly heavier Sig P226 and MUCH heavier and very coveted M1911.

  • I don't think the weight is bad considering the size of the gun. polymer guns werent really big when it was selected so I suppose thats part of the issue. good gun though, shooting wise. and Beretta's got a good and (very) long track record. It seems nutn is a little bias in years previous but recently he appears far more open minded. for the haters, nutn doesnt ususally do a vid on a gun he hates.

  • Any chance of getting a review of the beretta/stoeger cougar?

  • what unit is it

  • I hope you're open to corrections, because I love your videos. I've seen most of them. The Beretta 92fs weighs less than the Sig p226. Not by much though. The Beretta 92fs, with an empty mag inserted weighs exactly 33.86 oz, and the Sig p226 with an empty mag inserted weighs 34.0 oz. I got the Beretta info from my 92fs manual, and the Sig info from their website.

  • quick question is a their a .45 version of the m9?

  • @darkmagicrid1 Theres a .40 s&w but not a .45 acp

  • what branch of the military did you serve

  • wow, mine looks just like this! Also i have a .44 magnum revolver

  • you answered my question that ive always been wondering about(you serve this country and keep it safe)thank you

  • If this gun is too heavy... the user needs to hit the gym. I conceal carry this same gun. Pick up a .44 Magnum/8 inch barrel then tell me about heavy and can't conceal it.

  • It has always bothered me that the US military uses ball ammo for the 9mm, and in a full metal gun too...the standard issue sidearm should be a Glock 17 loaded with +P hollowpoints!

  • Please do not take this as a troll comment, but I have a question:

Given the risks of carrying striker-fired pistols, especially in jobs where you have to run, crawl and wrestle with bad guys, isn't a DA/SA pistol a lot more sensible -- even if it is a bit heavy to carry?

  • not to insult your knowledge the m9 is based off the beretta model 1934

  • I like to see a brand new m-9, Glock, and Sig go head to head in a MRBF (mean rounds before failure). Beretta's already beaten Sig in the trials but needs to put Glock to rest as well. I don't know which 92's NutNFancy been around but in my experience it is an ultra-reliable design which no pistol on earth has been more tested and proven. • During one test of twelve pistols fired at Beretta U.S.A. before Army supervision, Beretta-made M9 pistols shot 168,000 rounds without a single malfunction.

  • whhoooaahhhh coooooollllll

  • @microdork80

Of course he's a dick. People like this sit behind their computers and spout out shit because they are afraid to say anything to anyone in person and make up for it by making lame comments like that in the safety of their home. Laaaaame.

  • when i carried the m9 in oif, i would clean it, then after only a few hours i would rack

the slide. EVEN after being indoors, you could hear the grit of the sand that got inside. sand gets in everywhere..and i do mean EVERYWHERE ;)

  • goddamnit nuttin glock fglock fock lol good review

  • my preferred is a 40 cal. S&W, more old school than the glock

  • Nutnfancy always usally makes great gun reviews, but in this review, he's just full of crap... You should NEVER review a gun you don't like, because your logic will just be based off of opinions and not facts. BTW, ANY gun (yes, even Glocks) can be very unreliable if you use low quality ammo or unreliable mags...

  • Sorry, nutnfancy, but I love this gun! LOL

  • really the m9 really sucks. maybe not a brand new one but the ones the military ends up keeping really sucks. they need to update their handguns and carry something better. carried the m9 for one of my full deployments and hated it. unreliable and constantly needing upkeep. great vids as always.

  • I generally like Nutnfancy's opinion, but I believe he was way to harsh in this review. I have small hands. The decocker is stupid easy to reach. I prefer the take down mechanism as opposed to those silly glock take down pins. I like the 5 inch barrel for maximum muzzle velocity. Add some Mec-gar magazines and you are good to go. I have a beretta 96. Its great. I can drop in a 9mm barrel and put 9mm rounds in a .40 magazine and it works great. 8 out of 10 for me.

  • i feel guilty every time i watch this video, my only real opertunity to buy new guns in socialist nova scotia canada is at the 2 gun shows we get every year. i had watched this video, i could have bought a glock, beretta or sig, i have fired glocks, and while i love everything about them in theory, they just dont fit me well (hands too boney?) i had to get the beretta (even though it was $150+ more than sig or glock) simply because it does fit my hand well, and magazines were avalible there...

  • This will be my first purchase for a personal fire arm. The military trained me up on them so might as well.

  • For the sheer mass and size of this thing, it ought to transform into an armored getaway vehicle.

  • fearless maybe you would like the usp if his hands are large, easy mag drop and its well known.

  • the one good thing about the weight is that it can add to the accuracy

  • Look, I understand that nutn likes his Glocks (as do I), and I'm being totally honest, not just trying to be rude...

Why does nutn compare EVERY gun to his Glock 17?

  • damn did it hurt? with your finger? :S:S

  • 9mm is weak we need the desert eagle for standard issue or a m1911 remake

  • Thank you for your serrvice to our country. I am looking at 2 guns for different uses, but in terms of reliability, how does the Baretta M9 compare to Walther PPK?

    Any thoughts/recommendation?

  • Why is it with ypu the Glock 17 always wins?

  • hahahah i think this guy wants one of them little prostitute guns so he can put it in his tights..BIG HAND GUNS FOR THE FUCKING WIN.

  • glock are beter

  • my dad when he was a marine he returned his M9 to the depot and went out and bought a glock 17

  • slide bite at 4:36???

  • if your still wondering, the sub version of this gun is the 93r, originally made for police force but the production was discontinued so finding some magazines are gonna be hard.

  • if your still wondering, the sub ver. is the 93r

  • Align your damn screws nutnfacy!

  • Hey nutn thank you for your service! I am leaving for basic training in 9 days!

    Army MP 31B HOOAH!!

  • @Ar15snhappy Be Safe! -- Veri

  • I like the Beretta, but I think the American troops should carry an American firearm, as they had before with the Colt 1911A1

  • i dont know, i love my m9 :)

  • i feel like nutnfancy is really defensive about a lot of stuff. I like his reviews but at the same time it feels like if you give him your opinion and its different than his he shoots you down quicker than u can blink

  • Gonna pick up a 92 as my third pistol. More for collection reasons than anything, everyone needs a Beretta at some time!

  • Buying one of these as my first pistol, can't wait!

  • @mikeownsthisroom I bought a Beretta 92A1 eight months ago, I've been carrying it concealed almost every day ever since. Don't be mislead by Glock fanboys, it's an amazing gun. Little bit heavy and you can't have little girl hands, but it's amazing none the less. You wouldn't regret buying it.

  • how is that tenacius cut? LOL !

  • those things are really uncomfortable with the wide grip

  • 2010 is it still in service?

  • i want one can u give me some

  • So which unit or branch had you served in?

  • This guy really needs to get a room with Glock, seriously, if you want to read about the reliability of the most tested pistol EVER go to Wikipedia look at all of the DoD documents, it is insane the amount of testing this pistol has gone through. Notice in the video "i have heard" NOT experience. The fact of the matter is that the lighter the gun the better the opportunity for a stove pipe. The Glock makes a fine gun, however, the DoD picked the Berreta M9.

  • ...but does the weight make it kick your hand less than a lighter gun? Maybe the weight of the Beretta means it resists kicking as much...which might tend to help a shooter keep their aim better. Also, is the barrel longer than your comparison brands, which might make it more accurate at a longer range? I don't know. I am asking.

  • I LOVE YOU!!

  • u serving?

  • @metalwaffle94 He just retired. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy WOOHOO

Tell Nutn I said Congradulations, and that i thank him for his service.

  • @nutnfancy what! retired!? why ?

  • holy crap that thing to fing havey 4 a 9 i like the glock witch at the 45 is under 2 pounds i dont know about m1911 but its prety boss and glocks arnt plastec ther polymer and strong enugh to hit with a hammer hard and mettel makes it way to havy as u c the beratta is 34 onces TO HAVEY derrebul tho glocks r best and nutn how is a 10mm bigger than a 9mm

  • Beretta - all metal, Glock - all Plastic

  • @mgiaco52 So? Except for the slide, striker, magazine, extractor, all internals, and barrel, you're right.

  • One of my favorite pistols.

  • "Those that talk about weight being negligible have never been in the military or LE"....ain't that the truth. Lug one of these bad boys around for ANY length of time and then talk about weight being a non-factor. I have the 92, the model 84, the 70s, and the Sig226...guess which one I carry? The Sig followed by the 70S...I do carry the 92 in Winter with a shoulder holster, mostly for sentimental reasons. Great vid with good pragmatic info and description

  • Whenever I end up focusing on the M9's imperfections, I have to eat my words when I go to shoot one, hehe.

  • In my experience, the Beretta's weight helped with the controllability (if any, being a 9mm or a .40S&W variant). I think it has acceptable weight, but a SIG or a Glock may be better for a different job... I don't think that 10+ ounces will be a HUGE difference. I think that it's weight BALANCED, but the weight helps it fit like a glove in my hand. It's all in all a good handgun, in my opinion.

  • what happened to your thumb/hand?

  • I just bought a M9 today

  • i agree with u the size is just too big but i love to shoot this gun i always have very tight groupings when i fire it but my ccw weapon is my glock 26 with its very manageable size keep making videos ur great

  • The gooberment chooses baretta over sig sauer,Politics seems to have won over

  • The only reason these things are still selling on commercial markets is because gangs pride themselves in packing the same heat as the law.

  • 9:21 (left hand) read the sefety rules before using a gun... haha.. but now I know that blowback on this gun works great :)

  • Happy 20th Air Force Anniversary, Nutn!

  • Hey nutn, It looked like you were covering some kind of bar code on the back of the grip, Is that some kind of classified serial number?

  • haha veri is awesome

  • ha ha! as im watchin this vid a ad popped up saying the the 9 mil won't protect you!

  • This gun is sure huge and heavy for a 9mm. Great review. Thanks.

  • I love all of the really detailed reviews. I wish that he had partner when he did this review though so It could be in one part. It would be great if he had the time to go back and redo these reviews in one part. But it is understood that he doesnt have that kind of time. And I want to see new stuff more then old stuff that I can already watch in multiple parts. Overall Great job.

  • is this a gun that could be easily used for concealed carry, or is it too big?

  • @Baseballplaya135 I'm sure there's someone out there who carries it concealed, but uh... it's WAY TOO HUGE for 99% percent of the people out there to conceal carry. In fact it's almost too big/heavy for open carry. That's why in law enforcement there was a mass transit to the lightweight Glocks. Whoever marketed Glock did an awesome job by selling how light they are.

I'm looking to get into law enforcement soon, and I'm not looking forward to carrying one of those hammerless P.O.S.

  • i like your reviews ,but you ramble to much, you should keep it short and to the point.

  • @microdork80 You're kind of a dick, aren't you? You've left 3 comments on Nutn's videos tonight and they're all negative. Do me a favor..quit watching and zip it.. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy stalker?

  • @nutnfancy that was very polite .a lot more polite than i am .construtive critcs are onething .being an ass is another.nutnfancy has deiails that can help you make good buyes that you'll be a lot happier with .details are somtimes take a longer time to go threw but it pays off in the end .keep up the good work and shine on the asses

  • @microdork80 he's very detailed and goes over every detail, fault hisstory and i like it.

  • @microdork80 Want some cheese with that whine?

  • @microdork80 amen

  • I held this on the quarter deck and in small boats protecting the ship from suicide boats and pirates. USS Nassau landing marines in Iraq march It's a brick for a 9mm. I envied the GM's and their m14's and m60's.

  • We have the Taurus version of this, GREAT gun, I love it.

  • I know this is a bit off topic, but as a big Nutnfancy fan and follower I'd love to know how he feels on "don't ask, don't tell". Is he against gays serving openly in the military?

  • Just reminding you guys... the heavier the gun, the less recoil it will have when shooting it.

  • I suggest reading the extensive article in American Rifleman about the M9/92fs from about a year ago. It discusses the development, testing and decision to accept it for military use. I had a 90-Two stovepipe on me once when it was dirty with that aluminum-cased ammo. I had a Sig 226 DAK that was frankly horribly unreliable even after factory service. Never had any failure of any kind with my Sig 239, 92fs or 92fs Brigadier. This was range-shooting, not combat. Anecdotal, so YMMV.

  • beretta bite on left thumb from switch over drills?

  • WOAH this is a 9mm?????? its HUGE!!!!!

  • yall can talk all that gibberish but My springfield 1911 is money for a gun that was developed in 1911 it still competes with all these fancy polymer guns of today. I think we need to all thank Mr John Moses Browning for his brilliant insight on semi-automatic weapons

  • Nutnfance ... the mag form the Baretta Cx4storm rifel just rocks in the model 92 ... i put just over 1000 round's true it and i had 0 jamm's

I think jou know it already but just in case ... XD

  • how i got this in the related videos to the carrot contest video..... nobody will ever know

  • i think berettas look awesome! the second i turn eghteen im buing one:)

  • will comment as im watching it, but i like guns with a little more weight. i shot a H&K p30 and i didnt like it. it was light and comfortable as hell. but less weight made me feel like it was everywhere. now my fathers ancient spanish 9mm (forgot what brand) is a lot heavier and i like it better. same thing for the 92. granted i dont have to carry it daily, then i can see how weight is a factor

  • trausch or trauch something like that make raplacement grips for the m9 and are a good deal slimmer.

  • what one is a better 9mm beretta?

    Px4 storm or a m9?

also can you get this pistol in a .40 or .45

  • The sub gun Nutn is thinking of is the Beretta M93R. Same design as the M9, it was the Italians counterpart to the Glock 18. Sweet gun..

  • this gun needs more aluminum parts

  • I thought the baretta won over the sig because it was cheaper. I heard the sig beat the baretta in every category but cost.

  • Veri, I havn't found Nutn's fav. handgun other then he loves his G17. I've carried the M9 plenty, Marine Corps Assualtman. Before I go to Afghanistan next year I'm trying to find a weapon I can train my fiance' on to stay safe and hold the fort down with me being gone too. I need something cheap but high value. Help me out man. Thanks

    Semper Fidelis

  • @Fearless6691 Hiya Fearless, I'll have Nutn answer you by message. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy have you ever went to affganstan???

  • @Fearless6691 Try a 20 guage shotgun, or a 380 pistol. both low recoil and cheap ammo.

  • @Fearless6691 get yourself a Glock 17 or a Glock 26. Simple to use, reliable, light and light load.

  • @Fearless6691 what the hell is up wit ur hand

  • @Fearless6691 I'd recomend a 1911 or a Walther P99AS

  • How does he have almost 20 years and have time for all of this? Pretty awesome work though, I know how hard service can be on you. Marine Corps assaultman here, I should have one of this issued to me when I become a team leader. I'm trying to research what weapon I'm going to purchase as my first fire-arm of my own. I can't find Nutn's final verdict on the best handgun in the game, although I know he loves his G17 haha.

  • this gun is the best, my fave gun in mw2. stop talkin shit about this gun.

  • @DumbNoobsGettingPwnd You do realize this is REAL LIFE NOT YOUR VIDEO GAMES!

  • @DumbNoobsGettingPwnd how does that make it good you idiot, thats a game. this is a real gun... you dont know anything about it

  • @DumbNoobsGettingPwnd please don't talk about video games on this video. video games are in NO way a reference point. reality is.

  • @DumbNoobsGettingPwnd get into reality you dork

  • lol i think part of the reason why the beretta jams so often is stove pipes due to limp wristing......that's the only time i've seen mine jam

  • I loved carrying the M9 in the field. I just wish it was at least a 40 caliber.

  • @jokerman213 it is in .40 caliber... the beretta m96fs is the same gun in .40.

  • Riggs shot down a helo with it, so,...yeah.

  • the gun that you were thinking of john travolta used in broken arrow. it looks like a 92 with a weird front grip

  • my uncle who was part of the trials told me the sig fucking blew the 92 out of water but the 92 was cheaper

  • do a review on the px4 storm

  • Posting video response comparisons on both review vids of both guns if you don't mind. Just one fan's experience with both guns. I LOVE both, and the Sig, my three favorite 9mm. But to everyone reading these. Nutnfancy would likely agree, get the one that feels good to you. The Beretta 9m has an OUTSTANDING record and is very durable, same with Sig, and Glock. Glock winning by a hair in durability. But the M9 fits me great since I'm a big guy.

  • @hoboboxerjoe Hobo, I haven't seen the video responses come over that you mentioned... -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • I ended up getting some funds to get myself another gun. In large part to you, Nutnfancy, I was able to decide on the Glock 19. I really wanted a SIG p226 (pro size? do they come in that? anyway, smaller than a Beretta that's for sure), but with my back I needed every little oz taken off. I fell in love. Now after an incident just a few days ago. I borrowed my buddies M9 (with the M9 markings) and fell in love again. He's thinking of selling it 2 me, so I'll have a G19 and M9 shortly. I'll be

  • I ended up carrying a Kimber 1911 for awhile. I was damn good with it and it saved my life on a few occasions, although not abroad. At home I had two Beretta 92s, a Sprignfield XDm .40, and the Kimber, I sold them all due to declining health and the horrible health care system that us dems were only partially able to fix (Don't get my started, lol) although it did save me in pre-existing conditions. Thank goodness. After some healing and still waiting on disability...

  • what happened to your left finger that looks like a big cut

  • @SVTIII He cut it on a Spydrco Tenacious..took forever to heal. -- Veri

  • I really don't consider this gun to be all that heavy. At least not compred to a 1911.

  • the american laws are the best, i wish i was born in america.

  • on the rang, i like a big heavy gun, thats just me i geuse....

  • yep, polyester guns rock out full metal ones :P if ur in service in the military or the lawn inforcement.

  • I just want one bcuz its standard issue in our Military.

  • @gtvapsamtik 9 mm is junk get a 45

  • A 5 out of 10?! What about the sentimental value behind it? We all had to log a Beretta or a an M16, but we wouldn't have any other way (or at least back when we had them boots strapped on to our feet!). Did I mention I had to use an M9 once as a hammer? Well, it was my butter bar's gun. But that's what he got for leaving it around in my HEMMT! And because it got the job done, I give it an 8 out of 10! :D

  • the lighter your load is

    the happier your gonna be

    good quote

  • i like the M9 a LOT ..but glock 17 is better. overall m9 i=will always remain in my heart as my first gun. i simply love it. nice review btw

  • hmm looks unused must be an officers or usaf lol jk. I like my m9 its a fun pea shooter easy to clean, can concealable very easy under cold/wet weather gear with hip holster if you dont wana have it on iba/iotv or leg for easy access. about the mag problem pop out your gerber and open it up and clean it(to easy), but you do gotta hate qual do to the fact when you get to the ammo point mags are loaded and you find out you got a pretty grody mag on the line(gay/wtf).

  • Nutnfancy, I thought forever that you were too hard on the M9...you weren't. I fired it at the range a few days ago, and it has issues. It's not as accurate a Sig, the trigger pull is horrible, double and single action, and while I find it very comfortable(large hands), the safety/decocker position is a complete fail. I went to chamber a round at least twice and flipped the safety down. Catch is sharp, too. In the course of fifty rounds of admittedly low quality ammo, it jammed multiple times.

  • so that gun ways 2lbs where as that glock you like is a pound a half? thats kinda crazy

  • love the gun, love the review, its exactly right on. do you have any imput on a good middle of the road holster fot it, i prefer the crossdraw chest to leg holster. lemme know if you have any imput as to a good supplier and product.

  • i have a question. Did taurus with the PT92 fix the problem with the Beretta mags that you mentioned or are they completely different?

  • what is the white sticker on the gun for??

  • @hilljacktt Cover up the Serial Number

  • how can i get one of that in trinidad
