What are the major differences between the studio, and the standard?

@1234abcd113 the standard kicks the studio's ass the studio is just a budget version and does sound alot different to a higher priced gibson

@1234abcd113 this question is answered on mylespauldotcom. Studio: 1/8 thinner, no bindings but 498 hot pups. Always consistant in quality.

Standard: has changed over time, newer models has 2 peace back.

Standard has more trading worth but studio has the same quality if not better and is far cheaper.

@perothing There are some good studios especially before 2003 but I've never played a studio better than a standard.. .
