This is by far the greatest playing of this piece as I've ever heard it. It astounds the mind as to what a musician is capable of doing with what is considered a "simple" and "outdated" instrument in these hip-hop times. Despite the low quality of the video (don't forget it was made in 1977!), the sweetness of the violin and the solid viola playing still penetrates.

It's like eating a Ferrero Rocher. The individual layers are perfectly made, and together they are extremely enjoyable.
