  • You don't need to take the bruises off.. in fact bananas are only ripe once the skin has those little brown spots. : P

  • Thx 4 da tips man it helped

  • No one loves bananas more than me, GOD DAMMIT! I think I should know how to eat a banana... FUCK! JK I Think he did perrty good. It looked like he was gonna cut the entire banana. LOL

  • how to eat a banana. shove the whole fucking thing in your mouth

  • What has the world come to? WHY THE FUCK do we need to have tutorials or how to eat fucking bananas, its fucking instintive!!

  • @NOSRACRECNEPS Everyone knows how to walk and run, right? That's instinctive. But there are better ways to walk and run as opposed to some. If you keep your feet straight and roll from heel to the ball of your feet, bend your arms and take longer strides, you run much more effectively. That guy is going to cover more ground than someone running pigeon toed. Same principle here.

  • inspiring! so fun! :D

  • omg best video ever for real its look silly but thx for the info :)

  • Any1 else going to the how to eat a banana like a black guy video? lmao

  • This is good if you have a knife, but the proper way to open a banana is to pinch the nub at the end (not the stem), and then peel it from the bottom towards the stem.

  • @tropdars that's what i do

  • wow. I've only seen one other video of yours: How To Eat an Artichoke. I felt that was needed. Now,having viewed this, I feel like I went from Calculus class to 1st grade math. :-)

The best way to eat a banana is with the peel off and in the words of Weird Al: Just Eat It!!!

u ARE very good at this though. Love it.

  • i like eating it the old fashioned way. ;-)

good video series though, keep it up.

  • I didn't know that about oxidizing! Is it the same for all foods? I buy organic produce and it usually has more bruises on it, like celery and stuff.

  • you got dead cells on the knife! O lord! Be careful !!!!

  • I remember when I first saw this and once you started cutting it. I thought you were just gonna keep cutting until the banana no longer remained. But now I know you.

  • so what happens when you eat oxidized things?? i thought eating the bruises on the bannana was okay to eat...

  • those brown areas are the sweetest

  • Cool umm how about when they're all black spotted should i leave those alone?

  • dead cells? haha...don't they die when you cook them? I think raw is best and in that case yes cut off the bruises, but if you cook your food it shouldn't make a difference...

  • good point....

  • i think so too

  • So that's how you eat a banana! Wow!

  • Nice ;D

  • peace...

  • i love bananas, i put mine in a fresh bag in the fridge, so when i eat them they're cold and really nice. they're probs one of my favourite foods now ; )

  • thanks for the great comment...

  • lol..great!

  • cool!

  • I'm still laughing! You are such a natural in front of the camera. So refreshing to see that in a video. I'm also impressed with the simplicity of this video. I love that. Something as simple as how to eat a banana. Very cool.

Having lived years in the tropic I've probably eaten thousands of bananas, but I never stopped to think about the bruising. It makes SO much sense....and we really do need to eat as much live food as we can. Just fun and delightful, mike. I love it!! :) :)

  • Don't mean to be rude or anything but I'm just curious if what I've heard is true...that cutting does some sort of damage to the fruit...

Is that true and if so why?...

    Thank you in advance...

    Peace !!!

  • thanks a lot!

  • I sliced the ends of my banana for the first time today and it is waaaay cool. Thanks!

  • that IS cool!

  • Thanks for the tip

  • thank you for the comment

  • Now how did you know I just bought some bananas? LOL Thanks for the tip on the bruised parts and how to get the tips off.

  • a banana a day keeps the doctor away...

  • lesson learned! Thanks!

    Rick

  • thanks, rick...

  • I can't believe I never thought of that. Cool.

BTW people although there will be less to none brown spots on bananas that have green, it is always healthiest to eat ripe fruit. Banana that are

yellow with brown spots on the outside are fine. If there are brown spots on the banana you can cut them out but green bananas are constipating.

  • agree, i would not eat green bananas...peace...

  • Haha, great idea to eat it that way. I'll try it out!

  • Thanks for the tip!

  • thanks for watchinh

  • Thats a great new way for me to try, and i didn't know that bruising meant it was oxidized. I'll make sure to remove any bruising.

Good video, i'll be doing this when i eat my banana tomorrow :)

  • yup, watch those bruises and enjoy

  • Cool!

  • groovy!
