Ok everyone so I did some research on this. The best castor oil to use that wont clog ur pores is the one that is COLD PRESSED & HEXANE FREE. This form wont clog ur pores & is great for applying on ur face as this form of oil is said not to cause break outs. I used this exact form of CO last night & washed my hair this morn. The trick to washing ur hair is to make a watery mixture of baking soda & water & only wash where the oil is not the rest of ur hair n shampoo n condition after. Good Luck!

people: best way to use castor oil is mix it with a deep moisturizing leave in conditioner (use very little mind you, like a teaspoon) towel dry hair, seperate your hair into sections, use your finger tips massage into the tips of your hair then your scalp youse the left over and run through the strand.. all done. @snakefood2k1 the best way to wash Castor oil out is to mix it with a lighter oil(rosemary oil, almond oil, or grapeseed oil) because Castor oil is too thick so other carrier oils thin it out...hope this helps :)

I have lost my hair in front ..i mean its very very very light..looks like a baby scalp..with baby hair literally..do you think I can regrow my thin hair back by using the castor oil? or maybe thicken the hair to at least cover my scalp or make it darker..so it doesnt look bald

@lovenott, I think you should nourish your hair and scalp, starting from the inside and work your way out, stay away from any products with alchool in it, as it drys your hair. A mixture of Honey ,Pure Coconut oil and olive oil will help to nourish and hydrate your hair and is easy enough to make and not a pain to wash out. I am doing this once a week for the next month, then every 3-4 weeks. I started the proscess this morning and my hair feels great already. Good Luck

@waynenoo cetyl alcohol is actually a fatty kind. There is anothe alcohol as well that is a fatty one... these wont dry our your hair. I may try this mixture you suggest too.. I have olive, castor and coconut oil can i mix the three?

you can use your shampoo on the day that you dont apply the oil...it works my hair keeps falling since H.School for 16 yrs now its cured..Amazing...Use only pure castor oil no need to mix with other oil.... it works but 1st cut your hair short so that it easy to apply the oil. I already use it for 1month. 1st week apply daily the castor oil b4 bedtime then leave it then wash it in the morning using the dove soap. You will notice on the 4th day dundruff was gone. then on the 2nd week use it every other day then on the 3rd week start using it 3x a week after one month you will notice your hair become stronger and thicker and you wil notice new small hair is growing.

@snakefood2k1 try baking soda. 1 tablespoon per cup of water. It works good for me, Even gets the birds and squirrels out! In fact, I havent used shampoo in months.. I think that if you switch to baking soda and do a vinegar rinse (vinegar is a good hair conditioner/softener, I use about a 1/3 cup of vinegar per 2.5 cups of water) you will find that it does better than the traditional shampoo and conditioner and your hair will be healthier. The vinegar smell goes as ur hair dries.

You can get it at a health food store, or Google "black castor oil" and a few shops will show up.

It's not expensive, but make sure it's cold pressed or expeller pressed for best results.

I never used it.. right now i'm useing dnc spectural which most people dont know about. look it up.. shampoo with it dnc.. and i am talking multi v' . and hair vitamins and dht blocker so far its working but the dnc can sometimes act like a gel because it dries up.. but i gotta stop useing it because thats not good. i need good herbal oils to grow it stronger and so its able to grow thru without sticky surfaces. thanks.
