I'm at scranton with phillyphanman and nah we havent seen any cadets with the blue beret..seems kinda dumb to me but hey if they wanna wear it, whatever haha
Nice video man, I'm on our team (University of Kansas) this year. This stuff is a lot of fun and I urge any other cadets watching this video to do it, it's one of the few things we get to do that is actually pretty bad ass as cadets haha.

So if you win this competition what exactly do you get? i read somethin somewhere about being able to wear the ranger beret but i may have read wrong i ask because i was thinkin of doing this when i go to rotc but if theres no real reward i dont want to have it on my mind anymore
no you just get a ranger challenge tab and the satisfaction of knowing you are better than your peers who dont try out and put in the work, the people on your rc team will be like your family if you stick it out with em, you have a bad attitude about bein a soldier if all you care about is the rewards, i went, if i was like that id get jacked up out at my unit by my platoon sgt, you may have some thinkin to do if the army is really right for you
trust i know about the satifaction about being better than peers being that i am 2 time iron soldier at my current unit its either this or ranger school if i can get into it seeing as its gona be hard not being in a combat arms mos and ye its all about prestige for me and im not the only person ever to think that way others do an do great in the army
well seeing as how you reply you are the same as all the ones i outdo in everythin i chose to put work into yes i am in the mi field which is just as important as other mos' but knowing what i know now i would have chosen combat arms from the begining but im not here to argue or explain myself to you but hope you had fun and good luck if you decide to compete again.

lol u have no idea how serious we took it :D. we rolled in with aviators when we got there hoods up, wu tang on our backs under ranger challenge
