I think that most business managers saw this movie when they were younger, because none of the places I've worked at have ever been like Initech... managers were cool, the printer never jams, no annoying older lady trying to crack awful jokes,no "consultants" coming in to figure out who to fire, etc.
I did get laid off a few times but I live in Silicon Valley so that's pretty commonplace around these parts.
Let me answer that question with a series of other, somewhat related questions: Which part of the video was spoiled by the music exactly? Was it the part from the introductory credits that was awkwardly placed at the beginning, or during the poorly done fade at the end?
My thought was that it was used to cover up the point at which these two clips do not actually occur in sequence, but even that is mitigated somewhat by not including a complete music sample that cuts off in mid-word.
