what problems wa the rail giving you? please respond because i have this rail on my gamo rokcet and i want to know if this will hep any of my problems. Thanks!
An altitude of 1800 feet would mean the air is less dense and therefore the pellet would travel faster than specs unless Gamo recorded their velocities on Mount Everest. IGT is a sealed unit so the ambient air is not being compressed as in a springer. Using altitude to explain inflated manufacturer specs seems tenuous at best.
Why don`t Gamo call this the"Theoben`s patents have expired ,so lets rip off their genius!?" System?.
It`s still all looks and no content, better if you can to save up and get a quality tack-driver such as the HW50s, at 20 m you would have a ragged one hole group.Power is nothing unless there is accuracy as well! ....over here in the U.K. Gamos are avoided like the plague,I don`t think there is even one person in my 80+ strong club who owns a Gamo rifle!
ITS NOT ABOUT THAT SIR. YOU DONT THINK ITS FUN TO TEAR YOUR GUN DOWN AND MOD IT YOURSELF?!! THATS HALF THE FUN, BUY IT, SHOOT IT, THINKS OF THE MODS AND TEAR IT DOWN. DO YOUR TRICKS AND GO SHOOT. LOVES IT.
This IGT is the same as the Crosman nitro piston right. I have never shot the Gamo but I just got my nitro venom spot on @ 50 yards. I like that this Gamo has iron sights as the Crosman does not and you have to rely on the scope that came with it. Not a big deal because I really like this gun, I just wish it had the option of a hard sight too. I'm sure they are similar but have unique differences that that every individual person will love or hate.
These reviews are objective and are designed to give specifics... If he gets the guns free from the manufacturer to review, giving a purely negative review would result in no guns... therefore no videos.
i dont understand why people and air gun companies use really HIGH FPS to market their guns.... pellets provide better stability and accuracy at lower fps... and high fps defeat the purpose of an air rifle, to be quiet... so what if youre air rifle shoots 900fps that is plenty, and market it as that... if youre going to shoot an air rifle that breaks the sound barrier, why not just get a rimfire
@MEEP1N I agree. .22 airguns with heavy pellets are always subsonic, meaning they are generally quiet, and it is pretty easy to get up to 25 FPE with them, deadly for small varmints.
For $260, theres way better rifles out there than this. I personally would buy the benjamin discovery. you get superior accuracy since its a pcp but it is louder than most of your off the shelf airguns. I REALLY wish Paul would come and do a REDO of his benjmain discovery rifle because the one from while back has a part 1 and not even a part 2 as he said he would have. He should redo it cause that rifle is one of the bestsellers and people need a NEW modern review of it
@TheDanasian Pre-charged pneumatic's are in a totally different class than springers and nitro guns. I'm no Gamo fan, but to compare the 2 guns is not a good idea. Maybe compare it to the Benjamin Trail NP or Benjamin Trail NP XL with Charlie Tuna triggers (These are great inexpensive guns).
@gmperf425 There's two ways of thinking about it. The first one is that he only reviews guns that he likes before filming the review. The second is that the integrity of the the reviews has been sacrificed.
@gmperf425 Would you prefer he review the guns no one is really interested in?? The guns he reviews are typically the ones people are asking about...Which happen to be pretty good guns.
@dredloc121 but their not pretty good guns! A crosman NPSS or an RWS 34 is a pretty good gun, gamo on the other hand is just average. Your falling for his trick! Gamos are indeed nice guns but only after you've polished the trigger sears, deburred the internals and installed brass pivot bushings. I know, I had one! Order an RWS 34 or 1st gen NPSS and you'll see these shoot like tuned guns right out of the box. He's trying to make a gamo look like a high end gun which it isn't!
@gmperf425 Hes sponsored by a company that sells the gun he's reviewing. Do you think he'd say anything bad about it? Except in areas where he could refer a buyer to a more expensive gun?
@hagmouse exactly! and seriously that gun came out just a couple months ago, how can you make a review on a gun that just came out? I have 2 reviews on my channel and both products have been extensively torture tested and owned for over a year. Sure you can shoot a thousand rounds in a day but how does it hold up over time and what's maintenance like? grr this guy bugs me!

NOT EVERYONE CAN BUY A $200-$500 DOLLER AIR RIFLE. BUT YOU CAN TAKE A CHEAPER MODEL AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON YOUTUBE AND MAKE ANY GUN BETTER.

Has Paul ever shot a gun he didn't LOVE? I'm starting to question the value of his reviews.

it will be fun if in your reviews you make shoots at 50, 60, 80m because please, everyone will be shooting far away than 20m
thanks

@yogstar7 finally someone agrees! seriously! I never shoot less than 30 yards and neither does anyone else that has an airgun like this.

the gamo whisper x which looks exactly the same as this makes the noise of a broken bb gun.
it was my first air rifle and it was a dissapointment to the start of the sport.
