sodom is part of the teutonic thrash metal along with kreator and destruction so sodom doesnt really belong there however early metallica takes a huge role on the early thrash scene, so they still deserve the big spot. of course dark angel is a fuckin pure thrash metal band that also deserves credit.

I can't believe the people ripping on Metallica. Despite their shortcomings, they've made some of the best metal albums ever, and even though they aren't as technical as, say Exodus or Kreator, that doesn't mean they aren't able to produce fine music. To say that you've "moved onto better things" is retarded, because there's a reason that Metallica made it to the top in the 80's, even before the sellout: They made the best riffs, the best music. EVERY metal band looked up to Metallica back then.

Why the hell do people always talk bad about Metallica when Metallica isn't even the subject. Why don't you talk about the song, and band being displayed? Metallica is the best metal to ever exist.
