Effectivement, la plupart des images (la musique aussi...) datent un peu. On est à mi-chemin entre l'armée de conscription qui guette la ligne bleue des Vosges, et l'armée de terre actuelle (Instruction Sur Tir de Combat, REtour d'EXpérience Afgha...). Le monde bouge, l'armée aussi. Dommage qu'on y trouve de plus en plus de gamelards ou carrièristes, et de moins en moins d'idéalistes.

But France loses wars more because of political reasons (kind of like the US) than for military reasons. But I for one, only know of one war (ww2) where the French did not put up a good fight.
