I don't see what you guys are finding difficult about these combos o-o. They're all pretty simple, though I can't vouch for the mage combos since I haven't played elementalist or battle mage yet.

The only thing that doesn't look like an everyday combo to me was that gatling->wild shot combo. I haven't even seen someone else pull that off yet. Nifty trick if you're not using steep slide.

@KaitoverMoon Pretty sure this was before they implemented the damage limiter. With the damage limiter, the more damage received the faster the fall, which would make almost all of these combos in this videos impossible. 2009 all versions have the damage limiter system. Won't be much of a tournament if the person who lands the first hit does crazy KO combos... awesome though ^ ^

in NA i think that slayers and gunners are overused, that's why I don't like them as much as the mage or a priest

Nah priests are all the same (except for monks) and mages either take absolutely no skill at all (summoners ftl), are cheap as hell at low lvls and good at high lvls (battlemages), or have a really cheap combo (here's to you witches). The only classes that take skill to win are all of the slayer classes, all of the fighter classes (except nen masters) and monks. Those classes make you work.

For brawler, a lot of the Elementalists you see on NA Dungeon Fighter don't really combo, but you can easily find videos including this one that show how well an Elementalist can perform.

You are very clearly mistaken if you're going to sit there and say mages are cheap at low level and that Nen masters take no skill to win either. As a Nen master main with two other fighter subclasses I can tell you I have to work harder than the other two by a long shot due to being much more fragile and having less approaches. Nen masters have to trap people, which takes planning. Unless planning doesn't count as skill anymore. Monks need to know how to combo well.

So you need to sit down.

I never said I was standing. Battlemages are supremely fast compared to all other melee classes w/o avatars and there's no denying that. I haven't played one single elementalist so I cannot comment on them. Although your playing style might require skill to use your nen master, the many nens I've played against spam their hiding skills. I did say that monks require skill so...

I know nen masters can have a hard time, but my problem with nen masters is the elongation of the fights with the sheilding and the running only to turn around and use some weak skill...but I see what you are saying. Regardless, DFO has some balancing to do.

Coming from someone who uses those cheap combos. Summoners are lazy classes, we all know, and we all love them when we're done with our other chars.

Elems, being useless in my eyes, don't matter. Witches, juggling takes skill, and when you can't do that, you have an assortment of combos to use. BattleMages are basically combo freaks. The only time you use normal attacks is for Chasers, if you use.

I personally believe that you're just pissed off because you can't beat them in PvP.

I have no problem beating them, but it is frustrating to have to work so hard as a Weapon Master or Monk to even start a decent combo while the classes you just mentioned have a much easier time doing damage. I have to put tons of effort into every combo while other classes (besides Battle Mages) can just spam. But you'll see how unbalanced DFO is when the theif class is released. It's just strange how you can't see that now

And, working hard with Weapon Master? There's an infinite number of combos to start with:

Looping around with Draw Sword, going straight in with Charge Crash etc etc.

Well I am referring to DFO lvls 25+ for the Weapon Master. Of course its easy to combo at later levels but at lower levels Weapon Masters really struggle while other classes seem to pwn out of the gate. Same thing with zerkers. And with monks, I'm just waiting for that priest patch. But IMO, slayers could use a patch as well (to make each subclass more unique and set them apart), but that isn't going to happen.

That is true for low lvl Weapon Masters, even though they should implement SST just fine. As for Monks, their updates are very subtle, so don't get all worked up for a tragic end. ._. Not being mean but I've already seen the patch for them. As for a Slayer patch, they're pretty much on an equal slate with DnF, so it won't happen. Nexon can't really change the foundation of the game since it isn't theirs. I'd love to have ALL classes have bigger defining characteristics which set them apart also.

The priest patch provides the classes with new stats, new skills. Revisions of old skills and animations. They get a completely new avatar. In one case, completely changes how the priest attacks. So yes, Complete overhaul. They take the old priest, and change him completely. Nothing is left untouched. So yeah, stupid comment. Then again, I wouldn't expect anything more from someone who doesn't play a priest, or even bothers researching the patch.
