That soulful melody wasn't totally indicated a sad touching mood. Just image a lovely, sexy but mysterious lady was leaning against a balcony all alone. People were dancing inside the grand ballroom but she's staring at the moon and singing such wonderful song. She admired the autumn but also longing for a companion.

I believe the melody is what we call 'Rumba'

lee3, thanks for translating the lyrics now I appreciates the song very much better. But I remember this song being sung with the movie scene of a night skyline trawling over some modern city presumably Hong Kong. I guess falling leaves and leaveless branches would be more appropriate to the song. Etienne618, if you look more carefully, you will notice the lady has got a rose stem with leaves on her lips. Anyway, I am sure we all enjoyed this song all the same. Thanks Zoundcraker for sharing.

I love this song but have forgottened about it. I am quite confused, as I don't read chinese, I don't understand what is being sung. The soulful melody indicates a sad touching mood but the music tempo is very lively and on a very happy note.! The combination was fabulous tho.!
