This was the same peptide as found in the urine of people who took opioid drugs such as cocaine or morphine. It is impossible to test children for anything other than celiac. We know some kids with autism respond and others don't. There are no conclusive studies as to which kids on the ASD will benefit.

Gluten free cured me of my childhood attention problems, but not until I was 34. Don't let the doctors milk you like me. Trying the diet never hurt anyone. Waiting can cause damage.

What studies have been done that show that a gluten free diet is not benificial to a person with Autism?
