Of course there was (and is) racism in the US North and Canada, but it's almost unbelieveable that segregation was codified and made 'legal' in the US South...
Isn't it funny that in the 2 world wars the US fought for Democracy;but meanwhile the blacks in the US weren't getting any of that democracy that America were fighting for.
