I've got nothing against Mai and Aang, but I honestly think that both Katara and and Zuko loved each other. Even during the battle with Azula, you see Zuko jump in front of Katara, taking the lightning bolt for her, and the way Katara tears up after healing him and realizing that he was still alive.

I guess the relationships have already been made, but I wouldn't be surprised if Katara and Zuko have an illegitimate child together sometime in the future.

They don't tell us much about the pairings, all we really know is that Aang is obviously in love with Katara, and Zuko cares about Katara, either that,or he believed that he could prevent a death, a scar, and decided to take the action, and screwed up the move. So, both arguments have merit. No one will ever win.It's like the Harry Potter shipping wars. Draco has been put with so many people it's not even funny.
