@LibertyBooksAZ I worked with a woman from some small town in mexico.

She told me of a shop keeper who refused to pay for "protection" from some drug related cartel.

They made an example for her and the rest or the town by mutilating her family and burning them out.

The "law" there consisted of 3 cops that had to cover a 100 mile area, and refused to investigate.

Pisses me off when ignorant people like dueyv9 fail to see that America (though at the brink) is still the best country on EARTH.

I hope Arizona holds course on this and does not give in to special interest pressure.

I also hope my home state of Missouri follows suit. We have become overrun as well as Arkansas and Tennessee.

Interstate transport of drugs are also way up, which means that crime is also.

@wlfee1969 Um, hate to disagree but that new law is a joke, you DON'T want it. We cannot allow govt. to restrict citizens' freedom of movement. See my video on SB 1070. I live 30 mi. from the border, the solution is easy: MAN THE BORDER. Search for the AZ Cattlemen's Assoc. 18 points, ranchers should know, they lose more to illegals than any group. Put manpower on the border, punish illegals with felony conviction, no green card/citizenship EVER, problem solved.

9/11 Has fast tracked the the erosion of supposed rights and the constitution for that matter.

What else though can one expect when promises have been made at the federal level ("build the fence") for years now, yet still not completed?

It then becomes an issue for individual states.
