The music is fantastic too - I had the privilege of hearing John Doherty play once in 1975 at the Nesbitt Arms. There weren't many people there that night but as we were listening to him play in walked Paul Brady who proceeded to play a few tunes with him on the whistle.... a great night's music!

he played in this house ...my wife's Grandfathers at the time...and a few local ones...usually in exchange for a bit of supper and a bed for the night.
it was felt by many to be something of an honour to have him as a guest...
Quality slide show with brillo pictures. You live is a mighty spot. Fiddler was great accompaniment .
