I'm a musician too, and I know that it doesn't matter how big my audience is, whether it be 15 people or 1,500, it's equally as important to put on a good show and not make a mistake. @WhatTheFork It doesn't matter if she's human, a singer at that level should be able to cope with the fact that she does indeed have an audience. I'm a musician too, and I know that it doesn't matter how big my audience is, whether it be 15 people or 1,500, it's equally as important to put on a good show and not make a mistake. For an artist that is making that much money to be a singer, she has no excuse.

I nominate Kristin Chenoweth to sing next year!!!I listened to her sing it just now on another video... holy cow she blows Christina out of the water. What I liked about Kristin is that SHE SANG THE SONG LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE It should be against the law to make our national anthem your own song... I know she messed up the words, but that doesn't hold a candle to how she butchered the song going EVERYWHERE except the melody line. This is painful to listen to. All she's doing is showing off.

My feelings on it are that we all make mistakes! I can't imagine singing for the huge Super Bowl audience and I'm sure that was NOT her intent. However; while Christina Aguilera has a very beautiful voice, I feel like our National Anthem should be done without all of the riffs...perhaps if she would have concentrated more on the words instead of all the riffs....she wouldn't have forgotten them. Gotta love Whitney Houstons version at the Super Bowl in XXV!!!
