exactly. linda had red hair and the beast had "hair growing out of every pore" (taken from the book jacket itself.)

@InstantToffee really now? anything with a disney star is going to suck. as much as you might hate disney, yeah they have bad talents but they do have some talented people. High School Musical presented some very talented actors and actresses, the best disney has ever had. Vanessa does have acting chops, and the cast of Hsm does as well. you've got to understand disney movies are made for kids, so its really just cheesy scripting (then there's still people who have no acting talent)

Though they are many different looks of the characters in the book and the characters in the movie such as Kyle's beast form is supposed to have fur, Lindy is supposed to be a red-head and a bit ugly and Kendra is suppose to be fat and green-haired. We should look past of how they look and instead, see if the movie is worthy of it's making. Look past their looks and just see if they act like what their character is suppose to act.

You can't expect the film exactly as the book in all its details... we are used to films that are not close at all to books... I hope Beastly's an exception but of course they've changed something... enjoy it as it is and don't waste your time finding each difference! :)
