This song is so terribly depressing but it's so heartfelt at the same time. I love the first album because his voice is so pure and raw. It's so true to him and all of these emotions he puts into the songs is just amazing. I can't see why anyone would ever dislike this song, even if his voice is ragged and cracks at times. You can at least tell that he's putting his whole body into the song. His whole heart is in it, and it's just beautiful.

I like their new sound. Even though I love it, I don't think they should have stayed with their old sound. If they still sang about not being happy and being depressed then they would be lying. I mean, they love their wives and kids and are happy now. Their new album is mostly about hope and seeing the light in things. In the music video's, Nanana and SING, BL/ind, are winning but they keep going and are pretty much living off of hope. I like the message the album gives off. It gives me hope.
This song compels something inside my soul. I have no clue why. Just they way the beat of the song falls perfectly with the way he sings it... It is beautiful in so many ways that is completely undescribable...

To be totally honest, I love all of their stuff, regardless of how old or new it is. I find it so interesting that they have evolved in the way they have, and that's probably what keeps me listening.
This whole album is amazing, and yeah it talks a lot about death, but Gerard Way even said in interviews that during this point in his life he was really reckless and was all about self destruction. So it comes through in his lyrics of course.

@trumpeterjen Oh, I did misinterpret it :P, he most likely didn't talk about much life back when he was making the Three Cheers album because his grandma died or something (Helena), that's what I heard. But, yeah most of the Three Cheers songs are depressing except "I'm Not Okay"
I'm just saying that they still continue to talk about life, it takes a lot of guts and courage to take that huge leap and change their "sound," their awesome because they still present great music, unlike other bands.

But Bullets was no picnic either. You're saying they "continue" to talk about life. They did not in their first two albums, meaning they changed. I have no problem with people who like their new sound; I'm just saying that those of us who prefer the old sound are justified.

This whole album is amazing, and yeah it talks a lot about death, but Gerard Way even said in interviews that during this point in his life he was really reckless and was all about self destruction. So it comes through in his lyrics of course.

Their lyrics are fucking HORRIBLE, they're promoting a waste of life and general building blocks of life. This type of mentality is unhealthy for people, for societys, for the human psyche. The good thing about MCR is that 1: the tone of voice, the tuning of instruments is perfect to appeal to a large amount of people 2: They promote population thinning with their talk of suicide, the world is over populated by about 6 billion people.

Don't get me wrong, I love the way this album sounds, and you know it's better then the average rock, metal, screamo, cd that comes out these days; their tone sounds great. I think that a band like MCR is comparable to the Emo-Industry or what have you, as Lil Wayne is to Rap. They're honestly not that good, they just know what to say and how to say it to appeal to their target audience.
