It's a black comedy/horror film.
Evil Dead II could be a really stupid thriller, but its not.
Tropic Thunder could be a ridiculous war movie, but...
Plus, at least this is an ORIGINAL horror film, not some shitty Hollywood remake of Freddy, or Jason or Chucky.
Originality is something the horror genre has been craving for so long.
