  • I WANT THAT SUCKA AND I WANT IT NOW !

  • My history teacher has this guitar, and played it in class. He is my favorite teacher now for introducing me to this incredible guitar.

  • all solid wood for this price, unbeatable!

  • the fingerpicking sounded wonderful. and being a dreadnaught, im assuming it plays well with chords too, correct? what if you really wanna bash out some hard chords? can anyone comment on this?

  • man, i wish i had more money....

  • come on someone round here has to say MARTIN FOR EVER having said that that's one serious sounding piece of wood he got there - have only got a baby taylor to my name which i am very happy with

  • I've never heard of this kind of guitar but it looks somewhat like a yamaha.

  • @BassGuitarJake Yes but it blows yamaha out of the water

  • I have a Larrivee D-03 cut-away and it sounds great.

  • I'd go for the 03 r. w/ a solid rosewood body.

  • Are these model of larrivee guitars made in canada or CAli?? Im thinking of buying the rosewood model.

  • @eatthemoon13 I`ve been researching and trying out tons and found out that the satin finish are made in Vancouver BC, Canada which is a company run by John Larrivee Jr and the high gloss are made in CA and run by Jean Larrivee Sr and family. Was going Taylor for sure but now most likely will buy a Larrivee

  • I just bought a Taylor 210e for about $800, but before i did i tried all the other guitars it the store where i bought it, i tried Martin, Takamine and higher end Taylors, and i have to say the Taylor 210e, being a lower end Taylor sounded better then any Martin or Takamine or even the higher end Taylor up to the price range of $4000. I am very happy with the Taylor 210e and highly recommend it.

  • Thanks for the great demos! Live long and prosper.

  • i have l03R!! super impressed. sometimes the base gets buzzy? help anyone???

  • It tells you are not pro enough if you do the review and have to read along...It really made a person look much less cool..in my opinion.

  • I had one, It was an incredible guitar for the price, still regret the day i sold it !

  • @Ranec16 - NEWSFLASH: YOU CAN STILL BUY ONE

  • What is the name of the song in the intro of this post? Anyone know?

  • @Davis52

That brief clip in the intro sounds like "Whiskey before breakfast"

  • probably wouldn't be good for bluegrass? Just asking...

  • i have one-it has a very nice tone but it's a light weight guitar. it's best for finger picking (without picks), under a flat pick i think it may sound may be a bit thin...compared to my old guilds which are very heavy physically and robust sounding when played hard with a flat pick. but it's a very nice guitar, so maybe play one for your own opinion.

  • I have a D-03 pomelle bubinga Special edition and the tone on that thing is brilliant. Nothing like a North American made Instrument.

  • nice star trek hair style

  • I sold my Larrivee in January to fund a Gibson Advanced Jumbo. I miss it!

  • really was thinking of getting this or the D05..great instrument. i ended up getting a taylor 400 series which is amazing..i tried almost every taylor and have to say i didnt like much but love mine. check em out. martin was almost impossible for me to find a good sounding one, and extremely over priced, they do have a few however.

  • i love this instrument and i'm so happy to have one next to me =)

  • i have this guitar and it's awesome

the action was quite high so i've only now sent it in to be sorted (had it for about 4 years now!)

  • It's no Martin by any means but, the Jean Larrivee sounds good. It has nice rich tone. Very full tones.

  • Yeah it's definitely no Martin, but that's a good thing. Larrivees all around are so much better than the Martins and those stupid ass Taylors too.

  • I have a larrivee 12 shot and the tone is untouchable

  • Killer guitar for the price, I have a D05 and the quality is so much better than Taylor for the same or lower price.
