He was under the table listening in on the conversation. He wasn't impressed much by it...lol.
Yeah, I mean, I just don't find the Earl 'turning into' an owl tragic, its just kind of ....funny.

Yeah, here it's darkly humorous, though I think in the book it's portrayed as as genuine tragedy. The dark humour is still quite true to the book in a way - just a different spin on it.
