Film is well-crafted and thought-provoking. A movie for adults wanting a real story line. Clooney at his best! As for the "kids" who want "action" --- go rent "Transformers"!

Don't bother watching this movie if you're someone who likes any kind of action, this movie is very slow and boring. Plus it's loaded with tiny tiny subtitles, I stopped trying to read them after the first set because they're too small to read and I didn't care enough about this movie to bother.

Why would a grown man who seems so deadly find time to have a hobby concerning butterflies? Up in your face butterfly tatoos and about twice he picks up a book on butterflies. The underlying theme is 'leave and we'll end you one way or the other'.
@frekijsimpson Couldn't disagree more. I was glued to the screen watching this film. I guess it has to do with what u want out of a movie. I appreciate films that are comfortable with silences, comfortable without explosions, comfortable without even any MUSIC & with subtle glances over the shoulder building all the tension the scene needs. I wouldn't have more fun staring at a wall personally & I wouldn't have more fun watchin most other "we have to stop a terrorist plot film" or alien invasion

What I loved was the subtlety of the whole movie. Beautiful unspoken subtext language was projected brilliantly...especially from George Clooney! A lot of people I know have said "the movie was soooo slow....it dragged" I don't think so. It just moved at slower pace and I wasn't bored. It deinitely kept moving forward and not at all "dragged"
Sadly, one of the worst movies of all time. Hollywood makes all of these movies with guns, yet they still can't get it right. 360 mph. Ruger M14. Shoots his girlfriend... why? Gets a gun shipped to him to sell to get shot with. Somehow makes the gun kill the shooter. The list goes on and on. What the hell? Are you kidding?
It was cool, tense, suspenseful and clearly too intelligent and stylish for some of the people leaving comments here who no doubt need more tits, explosions and dumb one-liners in their popcorn movies :)

What I liked about this movie was its down-to-earth portrayal of a hitman. The action sequences are pretty realistic, and constantly making me ask "who can he REALLY trust here?" It also doesn't meticulously explain the plot or "why" certain things have happened, (why he shot the woman in the beginning, whether or not he got out of the job alive) but leaves the audience to draw their own conclusions. Damn good movie, but I wouldn't expect the average movie-go'er to understand.

I just saw this movie two days ago and I must say that I came away disappointed. Not only was the story dull and boring. The dialogue was pathetic (1000 words tops!

It's artistic, atmospheric, and suspenseful, without resorting to cheap flashiness and artificiality.

Definitely a movie to see at least twice to get all the subtletys. So go and get it on moovilek. loved it !! very stylish / engaging / epic – as my son says anyways.. a very smartly written movie. characters that draw you in and you want to know more.

Yes, moovilek is having this film. It has great dimensions, good critics, it is completely over-the-top movie. At times surprising, at some parts so funny, it has elements of drama, comedy and action, great combination acted by the best players. Great choice, if you ask me. Must see!

Great revolution, something new from Hollywood, and I liked it. If a movie that looked and sounded like imagination of all of us do not satisfy your apettit, then it is a shame. It's the human side of the movie that sputters, with barely functional back-stories and power-jostling dialogue that attach a patina of human drama to the locomotive action. Actualy come to moovilek and see it. You will like it for sure.

What I liked about this movie was its down-to-earth portrayal of a hitman. The action sequences are pretty realistic, and constantly making me ask "who can he REALLY trust here?" It also doesn't meticulously explain the plot or "why" certain things have happened, (why he shot the woman in the beginning, whether or not he got out of the job alive) but leaves the audience to draw their own conclusions. Damn good movie, but I wouldn't expect the average movie-go'er to understand.

I'd like to apologize for this film not depicting shirtless muscle heads screaming one liners while flying out of an exploding building and shooting "bad guys" on the way to the ground, then landing and just rolling an ankle.
This film will be nominate for 2 Oscars: Best Cinematography and Best Director. Hide and watch.

@CharizardYoda Dude, the problem is that, from this trailer, it was pushing itself as an action flick when it was anything but. Don't be a douchebag for people not getting what they expected (and paid) to see.
Plus, this movie was actually boring. I nearly fell asleep. I have never fallen asleep during a movie, or even come close to falling asleep. And no, I don't always watch action movies with "muscle heads screaming one liners" and all that. It was just a boring movie.

@seriousbusiness47 "Dude", i don't see where it ever promises a fuck ton of action. this is a suspense tale. most of the tensity is expressed through clooney's facial expressions, not the wielding of a handgun. you should've read a review, the ones on rotten tomatoes all spoke of boredom. so, you should have expected a slower pace film. you were suckered, i'm sorry to say.
and typically i wouldn't care if an action character dies. in this film i can honestly say that i didn't want clooney dead.

@CharizardYoda The trailer shows pretty much every action scene in the movie, which was not much, and then shows nothing else. The poster has George Clooney with a gun. It's about a hit man. How can you not expect fucking action? I went with my parents, they chose the movie. My mother said that she had heard good reviews of it, so she figured it was a good movie.

I just saw this movie two days ago and I must say that I came away disappointed. Not only was the story dull and boring. The dialogue was pathetic (1000 words tops!
I felt that the movie had no real sense of direction. I give this movie 3 out of 5.
