This is only a temporary solution, the only REAL way to defog goggles, and keep them defogged is by spreading a thin layer of super glue over the inside of the lenses. Once the super glue dries, it becomes transparent and moisture will not stick to it. This also works for scratches on the outside of the lenses. It fills in the scratches and makes them like new again!! Enjoy.
The toothpaste does not work, what really worked for me is to spray diluted (at 50%) baby shampoo on the mask before the dive. It's like magic, the mask is not fogged anymore.
the persons finger looks like wood when you wet only a small part of it.

What i usually do is use my old toothbrush, and a regular Colgate and just rub it against the mask for half an hour
