There is a way to do a PC/fish tank - you have to do a seperator piece of plexiglass with some great tank seal on both sides - put the PC on the back side and the fish on the front side and it looks like you have fish swimming around your pc. Betas are the best for this, so you don't have to work with filters and other issues

Its good that you didn't put your hard drive in the tank, because when the disk begins to spin, the disk head elevates by riding on an air cushion. That is the reason they have an air filter built into them.

jajajaja really you must use oil like in a power transformer, the temperature gradient is very time less than water or other insulating liquids. And the real problem with the water in the pcb is when it has salt, every composition of salt not only the Common salt. Check it!

you guys need a pump inside the oil tank/case, to pump the oil through the cpu's heat sink. That would cool it down better than air would if it was passing through the cpu's heat sink, because the oil which has a better thermal conductivity than air would flow directly through the heat sink and your temp would drop.

If you guys are going to be gaming for some amount of time you should cool it with a radiator rather then a fan. Actually in water that fan won't cool the water down very well.

Wasn't this debunked a while ago? Eventually the oil gets warm and doesn't cool any better than stock air cooling. I've also read that copper and gold can come off your circuit boards and floats about in the oil (so small you can't see it), but after 3-4 years everything fries. Not worth the bother.

@crazynoobboy even if that was possible, the fish might cook. however, if you could off course make a double-layered tank, if you use clear mineral oil, and make a double wall of glass or plastic you can make it look like it's one tank (kinda) but it's actually 2 tanks. make sure you have a layer of air (or better yet, vaccuum, but that would be hard to create) in between if your system gets really hot to prevent the fishtank from overheating.

Why didn't you buy the oil in bulk ? Google bulk mineral oil and you will save money.

Also, you may want to follow a script or hire a script writer. The off the cuff comments are not funny and make your videos difficult to watch. There is also very little "how to". If someone was to attempt this they would either 1) have enough expertise to find the video uniformative 2) not be able to use the information because of lack of skills. Who is your target audience?
