  • Cool to watch this build, i'm also a lefty and because of this my choices for guitars has always been limited i also got into building too. These videos help fill in some of the gaps that books and forums left over the years along with new techniques i hadn't seen before. Also even though i'm lefty its so weird watching a lefty play lol

  • @awakennomore That's pretty funny that it looks weird to you; some guitars don't look as weird to me as a lefty; a V looks ok because it's symmetrical, but lefty Les Pauls look so strange to me.

  • That thing is sick. but the logo is killin' me... i think JSX would be a better brand name....

  • @THEGUYD0WNTHESTREET ....Sorry you don't like the name, but you know JSX is the Joe Satriani amp, right?

  • His playing technique is very relaxed and puts hardly any stress on his hands. Also your guitar skick ass

  • @azfryguy thanks man! It's fun to watch him play, for sure.

  • I just recently found your channel because I started building myself a Les Paul esque guitar and I may have screwed up, under the influence of no sleep, vodka and an assload of caffine, I decided I only wanted one humbucker instead of two so I filled in the neck hole with drywall putty instead of wood filler did I screw up or is it salvageable?

  • @axuzu well, it's not an optimal choice; always best to fill that sort of thing with wood, but I guess that if it doesn't shrink up on you after you paint it, and it's not noticeable, then good times. :)

  • @jsullysix Cool thanks for the time to reply and keep up the good work \m/

  • Hi,im not into 7 or 8 string guitars too much.

But have you made an 8 string or 7 string guitar?

I would want one if I knew how to play a 7 or 8 string just to own one.

  • @mgarandsniper Haven't tried it; I have enough trouble with six strings!

  • @jsullysix cool thanks.

  • Would you ever build a superstrat?

  • @AfroAlex97 Absolutely! One is in the works.

  • I like the model of the Head of the guitar very much.. It reminds me of the Greyhounds.. Dont u?

  • @blasphemmy I like it as well, but haven't seen a greyhound in it. I'm glad you like it!

  • Whats Next?

  • @ht448 You'll have to go see on the facebook page - I uploaded yesterday's video there because it's longer than the 10 minute cap you get on youtube. If you go to facebook and search for "Sully's Guitar Garage" you'll see it.

  • wow..just wow..awesome finish to the galaxy v saga..his riffing literally made my face hurt..great guitar..I am starting to feel a little like I'm waiting for my favourite tv show with each episode..keep it up dude!...good work!

  • @jaytv777 Hey, thanks man! I really appreciate that.

  • nice job on the guitar, it sounds amazing! keep up the good work... because, well, it's good

  • Oh man! You made my day with the "bet you can't tune this" lick! XD I literally Lol'd ;) Amazing guitar honey ;) xXx

  • any advice for putting a custom logo on a headstock Sully?

  • @JYZProductions ummmmm.....don't mess it up? :) In all seriousness, is there something in particular you wanted to know? It's just a waterslide decal.

  • @jsullysix yeah would there be a way to make the waterslide decals on say on the computer, I've got a logo I have in mind for a few guitars, everything else is clear in this.

  • @JYZProductions Yeah, it can be done. Testors makes a DIY waterslide kit. If what you're wanting to do isn't some sort of metallic ink, you should be able to get a decent enough result.

  • @jsullysix thanks, after I finish writing this reply I'm going to check it out on google, wish everyone on youtube was as helpful.. or have a guitar luthier with a sense of humor down the street to learn from.

    happy holidays you rock.

  • @JYZProductions Thanks for the kind words. I'd hardly call myself a luthier, but I appreciate the compliment. Maybe someday when I grow up I'll be one. Another thing you can do is have some printed off at a Kinko's or something. I did that once.

  • Great work.

  • Man is that guitar going to see some abuse! What a great owner.

  • @mdmccat Yep, DJ's the man. Monster player, a great teacher, and a hell of a guy.

  • Did your car just.... Fly?

  • @blasphemmy wouldn't you know, nowadays they have these things called Commercial Jet Airliners. Magic isn't it?

  • @blasphemmy ....doesn't yours?

  • @jsullysix Not that high..

  • Awesome!

  • nice guitar can't wait to see your next project... mines going to be a jem, tree of life inlay and ermm.... well i think what kinda look i want when it comes to it lol !! im thinking maple top but ill see got some nice slabs of mahogany too.

  • Wow man that sounds amazing.. looks like it plays like a dream too, good job bro :D.

  • wow that guitar sounds awesome, and that headstock kick ass

  • @eviljelli thank you! I worked really hard to come up with a headstock design that I think works well.
