  • Was listening to the net the other night when you had a tornado warning, nice video.

    73s VA3SOM

  • @g4tech Thanks for stopping by Jordon!

    73, VE3RKP

  • Fantastic storm :)

  • Interesting that @1:50 you can hear birds. They're usually the first ones to get smart and head for cover. Looks like you were filming from Oldcastle, maybe?

  • @wrobinson7 Ouldcastle ?

  • Now thats a tornado!

  • I've seen storms like this in Sarnia. Southwest Ontario must be prone to this kind of weather.

  • i was chasing that storm and i saw a tornado i was the only one to see it...it took down a treee or two... it was very small and lasted a very short time...

  • Yeah I've always amazed at the power of some of these Canadian tornadoes! They started the devastating 1985 outbreak before it began in the US (F5 in Wheatland, PA). The Edmonton Tornado was incredible too! Thanks for posting!! :-)

  • Sweet vid man I'm in London Ontario. But wow the sky is sooo black. I never knew the skies can so black in my life. PROPS

  • oh man this happent just 2 weeks before i moved to tecumseh

  • I remember watching the big honkin cloud coming towards Leamington. Must have died a bit before it got to me.

  • patchcords thnx for this video

  • I do remember this happening, I was the one that filmed it :)

  • I dont remember this happening!?

  • I don't remember this either, and I live in the one area he mentioned. pretty cool though.

  • I dont remember this happening on the 6th, i can remember quite a few other times after that, that the skys have been green. wierd.

  • Hey Chris... all I can say, good work, but I'd rather be here indoors. Thanks for sharing.

    Love Dad.

  • Thanks Dad !

  • Very interesting VE3RKP. Well done.

    hugs, Chris

  • Glad you enjoyed !

  • How cool is this!!!!!!

  • Thanks for watching !

  • Great Video Chris!!

  • Thanks 'mouse!

  • Well done VE3RKP!

It's a good feeling to know someone with knowledge is watching, and knows what to look for when severe weather approaches. This way, trained CanWarn spotters can get the word out to Environment Canada who in turn send the alert out to TV and radio stations across the area. Great footage of the wallcloud!

    Love ya!!

    Mom

  • Thanks Mom!

There is a feild just down the street from me and is the perfect spot. You'll have to come with me on the next severe weather spotting !

  • Great video Chris, but I think I would have been in the basement. Not sure if you are very brave or rather dumb lol.

    Peace,

    Allen

  • I am trained for this type of weather and love it when it happens but don't like it when the storms cause damage of death.

    Thanks Allen for watching :)

  • very cool!

  • Yes it was pretty cool too ;)
