May I ask what made you believe there was lead or something in the wales palettes? Because I was looking at buying one and definitely don't want to if there are some sketchy ingredients.

there was a lot of videos about it on youtube from people suspecting it might be there. then one shadow cracked and just a little bit got on my carpet. it took hours for me to get it out. if it stained my rug like that what was it doing to me? i also found the colors to be very chalky. it came imported from hong kong. im not sure if there is lead or not, but i didnt want to take a chance.

What I really love about YOUR HAUL is that youy have a mixture of affordable products as well as high end! I've been looking for someone on youtube who offers more of a variety on makeup than just HIGH END BRANDS. I LUV IT!!! lol, Im subscribing 2 u!!!

i'm doing the same. i only got one thing off of coastal scents. the 88-palette shimmers. i saw that it has talc and paraben. also, nothing says they don't test on animals. i think for good quality make-up, you've got to pay the price. and i'm getting rid of the coastal scents palette.

totally. and your not supposed to use so much in one square inch of space on your face or it can be toxic or something. but also erica leigh made a youtube video about her whole big drama with the coastal scents creator called her ignorant and they would get nasty with customers. it's sad because coastal scents lost ALOT of buyers because of that like me and you :) exactly. you want good makeup? pay the price.

sorry that you wasted your money and your product that was probably safe. research is so important. the products that are of concern are kohl, kajal or surma. plus mostly all red lipsticks contain lead. if you research you'll find the FDA allows 10 parts per mil in certain cosmetic additives, so if you are going to beware, watch some of your name brand stuff.

I have powders and blushes that stain my rug! Our skin is a lot different because it's smooth and not fibrous. But wow I give you props for throwing away all that good stuff! lol I would probably continue using it just because I'm so tight. lol.

honestly, i have no proof but i heard rumors and it got me thinking. also, the texture is very different than other shadows. the ones I received were very chalky. Also it stained my rug when a few flakes of the shadow fell on the floor. If it did that to my rug what is it doing to my skin? there may not be any lead, but i figured better safe than sorry.

im not sure, but one of the colors broke and small flecks of it got into the desk drawer i had it in and onto my rug.... it stained the wooden drawer and my rug! there was me and another person scrubbing my rug with all kinds of rug cleaner to get it out and i said if this is what its doing to my rug, what will it do to my skin? so i threw out the shadows. i did keep the cases so i can depot other shadows and put it in there.
