Let's try a text comment cause my video response isn't showing up. A slightly easier method to get on top of the hand is to stand on the arm, through the grenade, then jump up on top of the crystal holder facing away from the statue. When the arm goes up, Lara rides it all the way. I'll post my vid again. I kept falling off the other way, but I still haven't gotten that last jump to the goodies.
This video is kinda "out of date" already. xD Currently, I usually stand on the little finger. From there, you can jump on the sloping roof behind the arms, and simply walk to the elbow joint of the back left arm. From there, it's easy to mash jump to reach the very top of the back arm.
I just tried standing on the little finger as it's going up and if you stay there, you can jump directly to the vines. Now, if you can help me get that last double jump/roll to the goodies!
Stand at a slight distance, aim slight right from the center of the root... Swan dive, and keep pressing forward and mashing jump. Try different framerates too. I actually had best luck at it while trying to record (recorded at 12 fps), but did it a few times off tape as well (maybe 35-45 fps).
Use the grapple ring under the bridge (should be active) and cross the pit to the other side... Then do the glitch from this video.

It may take a few attempts, but it's only a second away from a checkpoint, so you can get multiple attempts quick. After succeeding, access the hallway and find the "window". A checkpoint should ring when you walk up to it to trigger the grapple points.
there'S actually an easier way to get on the already upwards moving arm - just perform a swan-dive within a short distance to the arm and lara will land on the moving arm - but nice idea with the grenade as well :D
I played it for almost two the first time, and that's not counting the extra area reachable by glitches. But I kept throwing myself all over the place. I don't think I've EVER played TR so slow. xD
it looks like someone who is showing thousands of people how to do the game has got a little stuck...? ;D
