  • anyone knows if this'll work on the mbp 13"?

  • uhhh it doesn't work on the 2011 model?

  • Gorgeous High tech Chick , I got your converter here sweety :D lo lol

  • The price is half the one of a ps3 ... Why Does it cost so much??? And it seems that its output is not full 1080p, thats a big big misleading thing to sell... Even another item is full 1080p ,which is named the apogee convertor but that one cost even more!? Heck, I wish mac had an Hdmi port installed, then I shouldn't be complaining here on youtube :(

  • @ninjafireball where can i even buy the apogee converter!? i can't find it anywhere

  • Oh my !

There is a prostitute in Singapore that looks just like her !

    Twins.

  • That is high...

  • that girl is fucking hot!!!

  • 149.99 !!! Oh like most people are going to pay that for an adapter.

  • can it work on a macbook pro 15 inch?

  • Apple mini display ---> Vga, or

Apple mini display ---> Dvi ---> HDMI ???

  • Don't you just love it when a hot girl talks about tech?

  • i know this video is kinda old, but does anyone know which would be better the Kanex or Dr. Bott Digital Video Link??????????

  • @bboysloth Apogee convertor, which cost even more but the great thing about this: its really outputiing 1080p then. (cost of 299 usd)

  • @Ameeran5 what do u mean by saying this?

  • Comment removed

  • @drrobertoboogie97 yes it should but its not worth it just use front row

  • does this work with the mac cinema display and a normal pc?

  • it would work with a 21.5 inch too right?

  • @TheSupermmakid No. It's only possible with the 27 inch.

  • @TheSupermmakid i would like to know if it works on 21.5 aswell...

  • @TheSecretRaver No. Only the 2010 27" iMacs have video input capability(and the top of the line 2009 27" imac if I'm not wrong). 21.5" iMacs only support video output!

  • can you like have music on or talk with people on skype while in-game ?

  • I wish these reviews would tell the WHOLE TRUTH. It's important when presenting a THOROUGH review to note the Pros' AND CON's. FYI Other than that, good job!!

720 ONLY!!! She left it out. Not your fault.

  • Wow, it is STILL on preorder only through the kanex site?

    Fail.

If it aint available by mid june when i get my 27" mac ill have to resort in gettin the belfan one which sucks cuz I like kanex

  • Does the kanex xd still have the overheating probelm that the belfan did? Do i have to unplug it everytime im done gaming?

  • @DrJayroy yep.

  • thank u

  • was that the 27" on the wall? that looks soo big with its stand.

  • Only limited to 1080p, doesn't full scale to full 27" definition which is a bit of a let down, hence the black bars.

  • the black bars r there cause of the movie. most movies r like that dumdum. if u played ps3 or 360 games it will be full

  • @slaughtersawboy Oh really? Awesome, thanks man. You deserve a virtual hair tussle.

  • i pre ordered mine 1-2 months ago, but i wonder if i have to buy cables?...or atleast the one the connects to the mac?

  • so does this support 1080p or only 720p? can't find that info anywhere.

  • the 27 imac has many different resolution settings including 1080. i have one. supposedly, the only resolutions on the mac that support "input" from this device is 2560x1440 and 1280x720. nothing in between, or so i read. and blue ray only puts out 1080 max, so u cant see the "input" on the imac when its set to 1080. cause the imac only has two input resolution. soooo u would have to put it 720 cause thats the next step down for input. sucks. but i preordered mine. 720 is still good. still sharp

  • @adriandolata its actually even higher than 1080p

  • The belfan is made by apogee and there a sub branch of kanex. So basically there the same thing. Both have hdmi input, display output, and power supply. Just diff look. I like the kanex one but there's a sweet deal for the belfan. 114$ and includes all the cords.

  • does anyone know if you can get picture in picture with this?

  • does anyone have any idea the difference of the kanex xd to the belfan hdmi to mini display converter

  • Well if you cant work it out im for one am not going to bother telling you, talk about mind lazy people.

  • Pre ORdered MIne, Cant wait

  • are you based in the USA or Europe. If you

are in Europe did Kanex give the ok to ship

to Europe and their shipping costs?any chance of sharing this?

  • Comment removed

  • @PETELECHEIN11 - I pre-ordered the Kanex XD and i live in the UK. I emailed them and they said they ship to UK and provide a UK power supply, so I imagine they ship to the rest of Europe and include the correct power supply. Shipping cost about $19 which brought the total amount to $168 (£112/€125).

  • @Bottump thank you soo much bro, im gonna order mine 2morrow ! i recently got the i7 and it is a beast. i wanna see how it handles new games ! 720p is enough its not like your hooking it up to a 50 inch t.v. lol films on the imac have to be seen in hd or it just wont look right lol :P

  • and this basically makes me HAVE to have a 27inch iMac now

  • Pointless

  • why?
