@maxgunn555 i'd be happy to explain. This film is done in the style of 80's Hong Kong cop movie (early Jacky Chan movies). They are just full of non-stop action, goofball comedy and cheesy cop movie tropes. You have to be able to laugh at the movie sometimes. Seeing it with an audience helps, and it's entertaining as hell! If you haven't seen any HK Jacky Chan movies then I guess it won't be as much a crazy trip. Bloodmoon also has to most WFT ending of all times.

This is what was common in the martial arts films of the 80's and 90's, the producers and financiers would often say ""It's a karate movie, theres no need for strong acting, or dialog, besides the kids will just fast-forward it to the fight scene anyways"
