Yeah, I've seen this type lots of times. They hate religion until the day they get an epiphany (ie seeing the ghosts of their past haunt them). Then they hate themselves and wonder if they could ever join the fold after being wild dogs for so long. Of course they can. Without our innate ability to choose right from wrong by ourselves then we might as well be automatons. If God(s) planned the whole of Creation including how our own lives unfold, pulling the strings for us then Free Will is pointless. That is why God(s) do not "plan" events here.

Yeah, I've seen this type lots of times. They hate religion until the day they get an epiphany (ie seeing the ghosts of their past haunt them). Then they hate themselves and wonder if they could ever join the fold after being wild dogs for so long. Of course they can. Jesus loves the hardest of men because they are their hearts are the easiest to crack. Just a bunch of abused boys hiding in the behind anything that they think covers their shame. Christ loves us all.
