i hope you take this the right way. you have a nice tone. however it sounds like you rushed it. and due to rushing you lost the feel of the song. i would TRULY like to hear it recorded again but in a totally relaxed enviroment where you can give the song the feel that it deserves. overall i thought that it was ok. a couple nice runs but a popstar trying to sing a classic song never works unless they MEAN what they are singing. no insult intended. just honesty thanx

I have been completely unaware of your singing untill now and all I can say is, "WOW", you have a really warm and enjoyable singing voice that would brighten anyone's day upon hearing it and IMHO, I like your version of "Fever", better than the original :)

With being a guitarist and a singer (Although not by trade), I appreciate a good singer/musician when I hear it and you're singing is right up there with the best of them :)

I couldn't agree more. Fever is an outstanding recording displaying remarkable musicality. Her versions of Crazy, Ring of Fire, Killing me Softly and Walking in Memphis are also delivered with an amazing feel for the music and words. Unlike most singers Majella gets more impressive the more you listen, as you begin to appreciate her unique musical gift.

I like the way in particular you made Fever, sound romantic and not just sexy, which I think is problem with a lot of love songs today. They're sexy but not romantic.

Without doubt the best version of fever I have ever heard after Peggy Lee!!! Songbird compliments it wonderfully being such a contrast in style. In fact I have listened to this video every day at least once since discovering it 3 weeks ago. Your voice is unique and you have the effortless ability to let the song tell the story with true emotion without unnecessary embellishment. I've even created an account in order to leave comments! I agree with Manfreadstraw. Peggy Lee is a personal favourite of mine so whenever I hear "Fever" it's always difficult to avoid comparison. You are the first person to have actually given it a new lease of life and even managed to improve the ending with your smouldering dulcet tones. Songbird is another little vignette and I'm sure you have more gems from this serious side of your repertoire.
