Musste zwar erst ma bremsen Entlüften und die 2,4er reifen runterschmeißen, weil jeder stein der im Profil hängen geblieben ist die Gabelkrone (eindeutige fehlkonstruktion!!!) zerkratzt hat, aber mit 2,25er reifen absolut fahrbar. So ist auch die Tourentauglichkeit eher gegeben!. Bergauf gehts super, bergab noch viel besser! Sprünge, Drops, alles kein Problem!!! Nur die Gabel wird irgendwann noch getauscht! Is nicht soo der Burner :D

I am buying the 2009 Enduro next week, I had the choice of buying the new 2011 model, or the 09 version for the same price, I chose the 09 as triple crowns are so much better.

@angilyca Triple crown forks are stronger, and stiffer and offer better handling in rougher conditions, the only bad things about triple crown forks is the weight penalty and the fact on forks like the 2008 enduro you cannot change the stem.

I've tried Specialized's FSR and all the VPP bikes, and when you are riding there is vertually no difference between single-pivot and FSR and VPP rear suspantion design. The main thing to be asked here is where does all the steering control come from? the front of the bike. Where does most of the trail impact come from? the front. What brake has the most affect of stopping? the front. The rear suspention is not as important as the industry leads everyone to believe.

I'd like to offer a counter point: where does traction come from? The rear. Keeping the rear wheel on the ground, both climbing and descending is critically important for maintaining control. In addition, who doesn't want to save as much energy as possible. Misdirected pedaling forces waste your power compressing the suspension instead of moving the bike forward.

So, yes, front suspension is important, but don't dismiss the importance of appropriately directly forces in the rear as well.

With respect, that's not a reflection on the bike. The rider can set the pressures to whatever he wants. Given the riding in the vid, it's probably set to about 30% sag.

Unless you mean the linkage is soft (bobs?) from a purely technical standpoint.  But you can't really judge a linkage until you ride it.
